ACC Basketball

syracusefan.com has a 10+ page long "Coaching Candidates" thread so things are going well there. i wonder how their NIL is, too. you never know these days.

Lmao. Wow. So yeah, they're out on him already it sounds like. Yeah I have no clue what their NIL is, but I do think that's a big reason why Girard left and went to Clemson. It's crazy how mediocre they've been the last decade.

yep, its amazing to see how many fans can't see that NIL has changed everything. I'd rather coach at a mid-major with loaded donors than a major conference school with a mismanaged NIL.

kinda want to see Odom @ Wake if Forbes doesn't work out. i don't think Forbes is anywhere close to the hot seat, tho.

Don't shoot the messenger, but I heard some breaking Intel through back channels

Wake is likely to fire Forbes and hire Ben Johnson.

Clemson’s path to winning the acc was revitalized today. Get fucked FSU.

had tickets to this UNC/NCSU game but decided to stay home after the snow

now i can fap w/o being arrested if NCSU wins

:yahoo:

HELL YEAH

Actually was thinking this the other day. I think Wake will have to get to 23 wins to be in position. But if Wake just takes care of business in games they should, that gets them to 21 wins. Find a couple wins against UNC, Pitt, SMU, UL and Duke and you'll be in great shape. Also avoid a bad ACCT loss.

Syracuse, NC State and Miami isn't exactly murderer's row, but Deacs beat them all by double digits. two of them on the road. all since plugging Johnson in the starting lineup. like i posted earlier, Johnson isn't all that good but his presence turns Hildreth and Sallis from okay to great. that's worth giving Johnson 30 MPG.

not getting my hopes up because this program is cursed, but i believe they can finish 15-5 in league play. they certainly have the talent to do so.

and Omaha Billew should be back for the VT game this weekend.

I think it does mean something because Wake was playing even worse teams early in OOC and didn't have results this good. Thinking specifically of games against Upstate, Detroit etc...

I would agree the role allocation is better than earlier in the year.

I would say they can definitely finish 15-5. Take care of business and then beat someone like UNC and Pitt at home. It's definitely doable.

yeah, i have been to every home game and it was UGLY. beating Duke is always a tall order, but its doable.

hopefully Syracuse can sneak into the top 135 on NET. that would be a Q2 win. which kind of demonstrates how shitty this system is. beating this Syracuse team shouldn't help your cause.

Michigan continuing to be a top 15 NET team is also huge, if they can somehow win the B1G that would be immensely helpful to the Deacs resume. The good thing is there are no bad losses. Which is something to be said for, especially when you're on the cutline. That helps with the resume metrics. Wakes WAB is surprisingly already very strong, given the predictive metrics and the lack of marquee wins. I'd say there's 6 resume building opportunities left for Wake. I think even 2-4 and then winning out would be enough. Pick up a couple ACCT wins and you're looking at 25-9 on selection Sunday. That's a tough record to leave out.

This is crazy. Look at the 3rd Qtr.

It's like Duke is playing in the Colonial Athletic.

ACC is dog shit for sure but they currently have five KP top 32 teams. It's bad but not that bad.

They're not that bad, and ACC always is better in March, but Duke is killing teams.

Four straight by the Deacs. All by double digits

Hell yeah

We just won 2 straight. This league done fucked up letting us get hot

Game of the century this Saturday.

Will probably end up being more influential than 1974 Maryland/NC State, 1983 Houston/NC State and 2022 Duke/UNC
