ACC Basketball

It hasnt worked for the ACC as a league or the schools.

Leaving the big east has been brutal for all the teams. Luckily Uconn could come back.
hilariously, it has worked out well for VT and Miami hoops. The two schools that actually fit the ACC's blueprint and probably belonged in the ACC more than the Big East.

really dont think its a coincidence

Girard for Cuse fucking blows

We're a MUCH improved basketball team since moving to the ACC. In fact, pretty much every sport across the board improved (Football has declined over the last 6 to 8 years after winning several times when first joining). VT going to the ACC is probably the best thing they've ever done

That they have and while it would be correct to say they were in the BE. They were definitely not part of what I was talking about ha.

They were in the BE for like 5 seasons and left in the early 2000s.

I meant all the teams that left the super BE have mostly really taken a hit. Cuse, Pitt, WVU, ND, Uconn(prior to coming back), Louisville, Cincy.

Those schools have all had some success since leaving, but nothing compared to the BE days.

If you remove the revenue equation, I don't think any of the conference changes have been of benefit to the schools. JMO

Are Rutgers, Maryland and Nebraska better off? Same for others.

I'm thinking only Utah and TCU really improved their lot...and only because they went from G5 to P5.

Except A&M and Nebraska. Probably been willing to take less revenue to get away from Texas.

Forgot about this one. This was a good move even without the financial bump.

I know for real. The additions of all the Big East schools has sucked. Early 2000's ACC was just incredible b

It started out OK, but since has flopped.

I still think the ACC is the best basketball league.

I think UNC will be back.

Louisville will be back, too much money and tradition.

I think Tony Bennett has taken a soft line approach to UVA since winning it all, and I don't think you're gonna hear much from them.

Syracuse will be interesting because all of their success is due to Boeheim. So, we'll see.

They have too many big money programs not to be better than they are though.

Incoming class is ranked #10 according to 247, #12 according to ESPN and #14 according to Rivals.

I think they'll continue to be competitive but not for the National Championship.

Bennett isn't willing to the dirty shit, and I think he's good with the one title and running the program the way he wants.

Pop the champagne. First time VT has beaten Louisville in over 30 years

Deacs vs Pack tonight

at 9:00, ffs.

Just was announced that Keatts is coming back. State gonna suck again next year.
tbh, i want to go to the game tonight b/c i wanna see the Deacs WHOOP the Pack BIG TIME

but the 9:00 start time is brutal. i have been waking up every morning at 4:15 to hit the gym before woork and this start time is gonna make that a chore

Kevin Keatts is a fucking pussy for this zone bullshit

if Alondes Williams isn't ACC POY then you should probably just burn the whole league down

The ACC fucked up and let Clemson get hot. Give Brownell that extension again.

so i'm glad that Wake finished the season w/ NCSU but that game should have taken place on Saturday

matchups on the last day of ACC regular season should consist of

Duke/UNC
NCSU/Wake
Virginia/Virginia Tech (Virginia/Maryland used to always end the season, but the ACC has hilariously just swapped Louisville EVERYWHERE where Maryland used to be. As a result, we now get the odd Louisville/Virginia regular season finale every year. something needs to be done about that, b/c i'm tired of watching an original ACC school being forced to be "rivals" in every sport w/ a school that was in C-USA less than 20 years ago)
Clemson/Georgia Tech
FSU/Miami
BC/ND
Pitt/Syracuse

Louisville sits out

Not sure if you guys heard. Did you know it was that rats face fucks last regular season game today. First I’ve heard of it

Lol at Cuse. All the Boheim's need to get the hell up outta there. What a fucking choke job.
