Anyone Feel Like 50 Kicked Your Ass?

Pulled 465 tonight no problem and felt like I could have pulled 5 plates for the first time in awhile (but I didn’t go for it because I still had a full workout to do after).

50 was bad, but 40 was when my eyesight started to declined & I found that racing dirt bikes was getting harder to recover from

I turned 40 earlier this summer and felt/looked better than when I turned 30, so I imagine by 50 I'll probably be tired of sleeping with all of your wives/GFs and will have moved on to supermodels.

Back from my annual. Doctor said my fasting blood glucose was 79 (all good there), cholesterol was good, triglycerides were a tiny bit high, blood cell count all good, testosterone levels good, but my thyroid levels were quite low. Wants me back in 6 weeks to retest that.

Well, this damn pain I have on the right side of my right foot is unbearable at times. I don't think it is a pulled muscle of broken anything. Because it comes and goes. I have to limp and walk funny, and it makes the pain go up the right side of my lower leg. I am thinking it is gout. It did this a couple weeks ago and went away after about two days. Had some salmon last night. I know salmon is not a major trigger of gout, but different people react differently to different foods. About three hours later, the pain started. As the night progressed, so did the pain. Pretty tough to walk on.

Life has a way of settling you down with routines. College is stressful, lots of partying, weird sleeping habits etc.

You get a good career going and a busy functioning family and you become healthier by default.

You prob have muscle knots in your back/neck/shouiders/other places.

Go get a sports massage and see if that helps.

I'm not gonna lie, it was really earlier this year that I started getting my shit into gear. I was probably 25 lbs heavier on my 30th birthday than my 40th birthday, but February of this year was probably the heaviest I've ever been in my life. It's been a good year in many ways so far.

Well, blood test came back and uric acid levels were normal. So, as far as my foot goes, doesn't seem to be gout.

These super high rep days are like a Caribbean vacation compared to what I usually do. Insane pump and no wear and tear from throwing around the heavy stuff. By the time I get to my heavy day I feel like a million bucks.

Today at the gym something in my lower leg/calf area popped. Felt like something hitting my leg. Now I’m limping and it’s swelling.
