Arch Manning news ...

is that what helps when looking at your QB room?
The Gators have no shortage of QB talent. They just suck ass at utilizing it. Plenty of them end up in the NFL after transferring!

But this thread is about your lust for a Manning. Stay on topic SEC jr.

From what I have read/heard, he isn't in a hurry. PT isn't on his list, let alone top of it. He's going to wait wherever he goes - UT, UGA and Bama, and he will have to compete at all 3 schools. They all have highly ranked QBs there now.

I can see him actually being a 4 year guy more than I can a 3 year guy based on his family.
If he is successful on the field early then there is no way he stays 4 years. If he sits a year before starting then maybe.

If he lives up to expectations then there is too much money and risk hanging around if he doesn’t have to.

His dad was a receiver.

Yeah. Just speaking of Archie, Peyton, and Eli.

a.k.a. The Manning QB bloodline.

I've always felt that being a successful QB is 50% mental. Being a leader, being able to read defenses and audible to the right play if necessary.

The old saying out of Tennessee was "If you couldn't find Peyton, go look in the film room." Players and coaches alike said it.

Peyton Manning had happy feet. Something you don't look for in a QB.

However, he had a strong/accurate enough arm and the mental aspect of reading a defense to make up for it.

Peyton had a lot of success on the field, yet he stayed 4 years.. Eli could have left his jr season too, but he stayed for his 4th year as well (which happened to be a good thing)

Who knows, who cares... kid is elite and every school in the country would take him if he indicated interest there

What drives my thought process on this is

(1) he isn't going somewhere where he has guaranteed PT in his freshman year, maybe not sophomore year. He's looking at UT, UGA and Bama. UGA and Bama have full QB rooms, with high 4* and 5* in front of him. UT has Ewers who may be gone in 2 years, so that might be the clearest path to PT. Even then, he won't start until year 2 at the earliest.

(2) from everything we have heard from his recruiting is that he wants to enjoy college. His family went to OM and UTjr, they are SEC royalty, they are obviously a family with a great sense of humor that likes to have fun. I think they want him to have a normal college experience and not be in a hurry to get to the NFL. They know the grind it is. If he is as talented as everyone says, he'll go high. Now if he wins a couple nattys in his sophomore and junior years, maybe he goes. But I think you have to focus on the college experience with him.

Ewers May be gone in two years? By what fucking confident clairvoyance do you divine such a metric so that Arch would make his decision upon it?

We've danced this dance before, you lost, so I am not engaging you. Move along before I put you at the kiddies table with Red Alert.

I head Ewers was following Sark to Oregon when he gets the offer to go back to the PAC.

But that’s just a rumor.

Being proven wrong triggers you massively.

You stated that "Oklahoma would never fall to Nebraska's level" and that "Recruiting would be the primary reason why".

I simply showed you that they have indeed fallen to Nebraska's level before, even with said recruiting advantages.
You obviously hadn't done your homework before making such ignorant statements.

Here it is again, toddler. You've been learned.

c'mon man, you know what they have been saying.. Quinn wants to jump to the NFL ASAP. He plays this season, then next season (Arch redshirts).. He's eligible for the '24 NFL Draft.

Arch would then battle it out with Maalik Murphy to start in the '24 season.

all if this goes according to plan.. and if Quinn is a complete bust, then Arch will get his shot much sooner if he can beat out Murphy.

So he’s either so good he’s a nfl sure shot after starting two years, or he’s such a bust Arch can take over. Got it. #logic
