aTm Wanted Saban Punished

You can keep saying that, but you would be wrong.
With over 650 Air Force cadets enrolled each fall, we are the largest AFROTC Detachment in the Nation! Texas A&M's AFROTC program is also one of the nation's oldest, having been established in the early 1920s as one of four Air ROTC units

Why the temper tantrum? I was in the Marines and never met an officer that was an Aggie. None of my DI’s were Aggies either. And DI’s are NCO’s. I was an NCO myself. It’s not impossible there was an Aggie someplace but they would have been rare as hens teeth. What branch were you in and where did most of your CO’s and NCO’s come from? Sounds like you have more experience than me.
I went to A&M and have literally hundreds of friends that were in the corp, and thousands of people I know that were.

How does that mean that "Most of the corp are airforce"?

Why not just admit my actual experience trumps your universe of friends and associates? Your knowing those people has nothing to do with the issue at hand: which branch were they in? It wasn't the Marine Corps, or very rarely, and that's not a knock on aTm. It's just reality.

LOL. You are saying your experience trumps mine? Ok, whatever you need. I know these people and which ones are 1) under contract and 2) which branch.

Good for you. Now tell me how many of them are Marines?

Just about 10% of the last commissioned class were Marines. If that were to be true of every class then there are thousands of them. I don't know the specific breakdown any more than you do. But I know S-2 wasn't a small group and they were all Marine contracted, and not the only one.

yeah while i was serving I did not meet any officers that went there.. But the most common college that I noticed many of the officers went to were military schools like VMI.. our XO, Armory LT, and CO all went there

BTW, if you have children and they are dead set joining the military.. make sure they go to the actual academy to get a degree. And if you can..push them towards the Air Force.. They really take care of their officers

actual academy? What does that mean? A&M is an actual military academy, one of six.

Bunch of ignorant fools in here that only know about A&M from memes.

no, I mean to go Annapolis or Colorado.. where they actually get a degree from.

My best friends niece just graduated from there last month, now she's going to her first assignment in DC. You wouldn't believe all the perks they get

and they have the leg up with having all their training completed in addition to all the classwork when they got their bachelor's degree. Hours flying, parachuting, shooting, etc.

I doubt you are correct. Here is an excerpt from their Facebook page:

Yesterday was service uniform day and our Navy contracts made sure to put out. S-2 is home to 11 Navy contracts, 2 Marine Corps contracts, 1 Air Force contract, and two Army contracts and counting.

Whatever you want to believe. you live on 2 year old pandemic Facebook posts, and I'll just rely on my actual knowledge of going there and knowing many, many marine contracts over my 4 years there.

You brought up S-2, I didn't and how your're complaining about the timeline. LMAO Is there any issue you are not an expert on? Just asking. No kidding. You argue with everyone about everything and you're never wrong. And here I deigned to correct The Expert. @Thiefery was in the Marines too. Go read his posts.

Any issue I'm not an expert on? You are talking about your anecdotal knowledge of the student breakdown of a school you didn't go to, with someone who did. And trying to talk shit to me about pretending to know everything? Pardon the fuck out of me for providing you with stats which you disagree with because a Facebook post from 2 years ago says something slightly different. :L.

Did I pick the S-2 not knowing the timeline? No you did. And when you got caught with your pants down on the facts you resorted to (WAIT FOR IT) Covid. Am I dealing with Joe Biden here? This is hilarious. I didn't have to go to any school on the planet to know if very few of their graduates are in an organization I was a member of and I still spend a lot of time around in social events sponsored by that organization. You never should have stepped into a hole with someone who knows more about an issue than you do. So walk it off, OK? You're a pretender when it comes to the Marine Corps. I likely know a lot less than you do about many subjects but the military and business are two areas you are never going to beat me on.

How did I get caught with my pants down? I said about 10% went Marines. You countered with "nu uh, only 2 of 14 did according to Facebook". 2/14 is >10% genius. I merely pointed out you are basing your facts on a pandemic era Facebook photo.

You don't know more about this issue than I do. You need to get the hell over yourself and stop talking shit about schools you don't know the first thing about.

and lel at "I know more about business than you". Are you 12? Serious question. Should I tell my dad you are sending yours over to fight him?

You seriously messed up with your post #67.

"But I know S-2 wasn't a small group and they were all Marine contracted, and not the only one."

Let's just call it a mistake and not a statement. There, is that better? I've got stuff to get done today so I'm outta here. Have a good day.

How does that mean that "Most of the corp are airforce"?

A&M has the largest Air Force ROTC in the country and it makes up over 30% of the corps students A&M has enrolled.

Well, you appear to be an expert so I'll just let you live in your little world. Army makes up the majority of the contracted corp, but whatever.
