Come to think of it, you are right. It wasn't Iowa we beat for that title. That was the year before. It was a lackluster Michigan team they beat the next year for the title. It was partially because Michigan wasn't that great that they ended up with a split title with Miami. The Iowa game was a much better game.

They aren't supposed to. But they've moved some wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy up or dooooooooooooowwwn in previous years. Hell, There was one that won by 30+ their last game of the year and went down after their win.
