Geez, they just made the change from 4 OOC games to 3 like 6 years ago.

Well, no, I am glad my team is UGA because I went to UGA and have been a UGA fan for 40 years. And we are the reigning NC, so I am enjoying the shit out of that.
If you mean, do I wish that UGA was on an historical run like Bama has been since Saban got there, well of course I do. Anyone would. I am kind of hoping we've started that to coincide with Saban getting old and perhaps hanging it up at some point. In the meantime, I think we can win a few in the next 5-10 years. That works for me.
The Buckeyes do not turn down anyone and their scheduling has shown that. Stop being so scared to come up and lose again.I named two when we went up there.
Give me two when you came down here to an SEC stadium?
The truth is you fuckers don't want to play us. Auburn sends open dates to every P5 conference and everyone has responded except the B1G until Penn State did that is. It had been like 50 years since Auburn was on a B1G campus and it wasn't us.
The shit in your head is a myth.
See you in 40 years...You can stake 42 and 80 and shove em up your ass. Only care about 21.
I’ll worry about that when it happens. I live in the present. But I’d agree to any bet that we win another in the next 5 yearsSee you in 40 years...
Just because you type it doesn't make it true. The Buckeyes do not turn down anyone and their scheduling has shown that. Stop being so scared to come up and lose again.
You do know that three years is a long time for college football with roster turn over, right?Just because you type it doesn't make it true.
2018 TCU & Oregon State - Snore
2019 Cincinnati - Great timing before we became the world beaters that we are
2020 - COVID everyone gets a pass
2021 - Oregon who Auburn beat 2 years prior and we sucked
2022 - You're playing ND which they will be down
Looks to me you guys aren't working that freaking hard to schedule teams with heartbeats and all of the teams listed played at your house. So quit lying to yourself.
Auburn shouldn’t be talking about non conference schedules. The top team you have coming up is Baylor, a perennial middle of the pack Big12 team. You just lost to a shitty Penn State team. Cal? Miami (Fl)? Both trash.Just because you type it doesn't make it true.

So which division is your team. Sucks or sucks less?
Williams had 11 catches for 250 yards in 6 quarters against Georgia. That's with Georgia being able to roll coverage to his side of the field because he was really the only option they had in the passing game with Metchie out, who could gauge Georgia's defense. Is that Georgia's fault? Absolutely not. Thinking it didn't affect the outcome is silly -- of course it did. It isn't like it was just another WR and they could put the next guy in and he'd match the production. He was arguably the best WR in CFB and absolutely torched Georgia over the game and a half he had played.First, you don't know that they win if they have their 2 WRs. And, if we are going to do that, I assume we got all the guys we lost to injury back. See how fucking stupid that is? Look, I get that was a break for us, but us losing Adam Anderson, WR1 being limited, WR2 out, WR3 out, RG1 out, etc., etc. was a break for them. Or, do injuries just during certain games count?
You are correct that there is a difference between mature, 1st and 2nd rounders, and a bunch of blue chips. We will take a step back, but it won't be as bad as everyone thinks it is. This year we gave up about 10 points a game. Next year it will be 15-16.
Here is a breakdown of our experience coming back. This is before we probably bring in 2 or 3 transfer guys after spring. For as good a defense as we had, and as many that will get drafted, that's some serious experience. ILB is the most concern ... ton of talent, not much experience. That said, more seniors and juniors than I thought. With a favorable schedule, some of our incoming DL might be playing a fair amount by year end.

They are taking this personal because everyone isn't exactly celebrating their first NC since 1980 with open arms like they were hoping.. Most are saying, "great job, sucks that Bama lost it's WRs to injuries"..Williams had 11 catches for 250 yards in 6 quarters against Georgia. It also freed up the Georgia defense, because they no longer had to worry about Williams and could leave their CB's in man coverage and bring pressure on Young.
And I have no doubt Georgia will be solid on defense next year, but they won't be ridiculously good like they were this year. It isn't easy to replace guys like Dean and Davis. When you lose Cine, Walker, Wyatt, Tindall, Quay as well -- the level is going to drop. The big losses are Nakobe Dean and Davis though. They are unique talents. Sideline to Sideline LB's like Dean aren't easy to find with his instincts. And well -- Davis is simply a unicorn. That guy simply shouldn't be able to move like he does at that size. I'm really interested to see where he ends up in the NFL.
I didn't realize Georgia fans would get upset over the comments i made. I still think you are going to be one of the select few to dominate at the top of CFB.
So, we agree ... if you give them their injured players back, we get ours back. See, I never said that it didn't make a difference. It obviously did. Us losing all the players I mentioned affected us as well. Moreover, looking at the SECCG and trying to extrapolate anything there to the NC game obviously doesn't work. You can see that we made a ton of adjustments. But, at the end of the day if you want to pretend that they get their injured players back, then you have to pretend that we get all our guys back. Then we can pretend what might have happened. JFC.Williams had 11 catches for 250 yards in 6 quarters against Georgia. I don't get this ... anyone you play would be a home and home series. So, how is it we are scared to come north and play in September. I don't recall you guys coming south and playing all sorts of games down here. You scared of some heat and humidity? The fact is that no one is scared. That's silly. And, we have you guys scheduled in the future, and I look forward to that. Let's hope the game survives the rescheduling that is about to take place. The Buckeyes do not turn down anyone and their scheduling has shown that. Stop being so scared to come up and lose again.

I know my team ... the big losses on D for us are our ILB corps. Of course the DL will take a step back, but we have way more mature experience to replace what we are losing there.
I am not sure upset is the term. I am simply tired of people trying to diminish our win by talking injuries and not taking into consideration what we were without based on injuries. You have to look at it both ways or neither way. I prefer neither because injuries are part of the game. Perhaps Bama won't rely on 2 WRs next year in case they have injuries.
Dude ... how many times are you going to ignore the fact that if you want to use their injuries as an excuse, you have to take our injuries into consideration. Also, you extrapolated the SECG, which as you saw was quite a bit different. And, they were winning 3-0 or 6-3.They didn't even really need the 2nd WR -- look what they did to Georgia with just Williams healthy in the SEC CG. And they were winning up until Williams went down and that's when Georgia started to turn it around. THAT is why people have said that.
Props to Georgia for taking advantage of it. As you said - injuries are part of the game. And no one is pretending anything. I posted the stats Williams had in 6 quarters against Georgia. So you don't have to pretend, you saw what he did. If you think losing him didn't change how the rest of the game was played -- you are kidding yourself.
lolOnly thing I have any issue with is the “act like you’ve been there before” crowd. Fuck you and your high horse of that’s your way of thinking. I’ve done enough congratulating others. I’m gonna talk shit and enjoy the natty all off-season
