GAME Battle Lines Have Been Drawn. War To Crown The Week 4 Kings of the North Detroit Lions (2-1) @ Green Bay Packers (2-1) Thursday Night Football šŸˆ LFG!!

This is brand new territory for Lions fans. Weā€™ve had teams win some games early, but the town really never believed in the Lions the way we do now. Itā€™s a lot of fun. The loss to Seattle brought a lot of us back down to Earth - it wonā€™t be easy - but we have a good, hungry team with some real bright spots. So a lot to be excited about.

A chance to win tomorrow against a rival on the road to take command of the division is not something weā€™re used to.

Iā€™m nervous as hell. Itā€™s Green Bay, on the road. No gimme.

But itā€™s sure exciting.

One more wake up!
Thursday night football sucks, and it's even tougher when you're road team

The good news is weā€™re getting Green Bay on the road in September.

We used to get @Green Bay late in the season in the freezing cold every year.

You sound like an SEC team, whining about the cold.

Our last four games of the season are all in domes. Home vs Denver, Detroit At Minnesota, Detroit At Dallas, Home vs Minnesota.

We won in GB last year week 18 but Iā€™ll take 4 dome games to close out the season. Thatā€™s supposed to be an advantage to us being a dome team ourselves.

Pffft! Indoor football. LOL

Montgomery returning is great news. Run game will have to be strong. Iā€™m expecting a lot out of Gibbs.
It's still questionable if GB will have Aaron Jones, Watson, Bahktiari, Jenkins, Tom, Gary, Alexander and Campbell going tomorrow. That's the RB1, WR1, LT1, RT1, RG1, OLB1, CB1 and ILB1... ...a lot of key starters on the fence.

Having Aaron Jones out was the key reason GB lost to ATL. Having so many key guys out against NO was a big reason why the team struggled through the first three quarters Sunday.

GB needs Jones on the field in the first quarter and fourth quarter of tomorrow's game. If he's not available at all, there's a pretty good chance the Lions finish the game with more points on the scoreboard than the Packers. If Alexander is on the field, that helps take away St. Brown which would be a big plus to keeping points off the board for the Lions. If Gary is on the field, that will put more pressure on Goff to make good quick decisions - which he's not very good at. If all three of those starting linemen are out, it's gonna be very tough to hold the Lions defensive front in check.

If the Packers can get at least half of those guys on the field it should be a close fun game. I really wish we could get all of the Lions 1's against all of the Packers 1's and simply enjoy the show.

Falcons beat the Packers despite the refs being firmly in the Packers back pocket.

Lions whipped the Falcons up and down the field

Iā€™ll take the Lions by a million
I'll take Green Bay +1,000,000,000 how much do you want to put on it?

Is weird they didnā€™t send us there week 16 or 17.

Only one possible cold game this year. And itā€™s against a minor league team on Dec 10th.

If Carr doesn't get hurt there is no chance GB wins that game.

If all of those injured 1's I cited had played, it's also pretty unlikely the Packers have a 17 point deficit entering the 4th quarter.

No Decker or Montgomery tonight. Not great. 5th round rookie T Cory Sordsal gets the start. He played well last week after our back up RT Matt Nelson went down.

Pass game will need to be at elite levels. Laporta, Saint Brown and Goff will all need big turnouts.
