Best Fair or Amusement Park Food

always loved the funnel cake @ the Dixie Classic Fair

What's the difference?
Pronto pups arent as sweet of a batter.

They'll contain cornmeal (so, to my knowledge, all pronto pups are corn dogs but all corn dogs aren't pronto pups) but more flour based. A purist will only use mustard.

I prefer more savory pronto pup, but they're pretty similar.

Friend of mine sent me a photo of the sign above a little trailer food kiosk from one of our state fairs 10 years ago+- and I thought he was busting my chops. He sent me another of the chocolate covered bacon strips 10 minutes later when he finally got his food and my wife and I were committed to going to the next state fair. It's fucking awesome!

Minnesotans know state fair better than any other state
We’re too poor to even have one now.

I’ve only seen Pronto Pups at the beach in Grand Haven.
