I saw one of the old ones with Charlton Heston. That might have been an old Midway movie. Too many too rememberThere have been so many: A Bridge Too Far, The Longest Day, From Here to Eternity, Pearl Harbor...
When the horse pulls out the grenade launcher.... well, I did not see that coming. Great plot twist. How about Bridges of Madison County?
There was some whining from Mat Damon and Ben Affleck, you missed those parts.I left after the Cliffs.
I don't know
The half that almost wasn't. Lee Emory was not originally cast to play the part of the drill sergeant. It was the guy in the Helicopter scene that was shooting at the Vietnamese civilians yelling Get Some. He was supposed to be the drill sergeant and Lee Emory was brought in as a technical advisor. Lee Emory was too good at playing the part so they had to fire the other guy and give it to Emory. I can't imagine anyone else playing that part.the first half of full metal jacket is a masterpiece
the first half of Stripes, also a masterpiece
