I know. I've questioned the authority of the almighty gawd that is the S-E-C.
Here's another news flash. I ain't going to watch it the SEC network when OU and Texas join either. Just like I don't watch the LHN, B1G, Pac 12 networks either.
I only watch those "specific" networks when they have a "decent" game on them that the regular networks aren't picking up. And that seems to be more of a case during basketball and baseball seasons. SEC network does have good baseball games. (I don't even get the PAC network.)I watch Big 10 Network on the regular. I just don't bring the hype mush here with me.
I won't lie, I do watch mostly watch SEC games and then the big games from other leagues. I watched for example Illinois vs. Nebraska, Penn State vs. Wisconsin while flipping to OU and Tulane.
However, right now, I am watching Missouri and Miss State. Missouri doesn't look very good which is giving me a better feeling about playing them.
You know, I'm beginning to wonder about any performances...good or bad during the COVID shit time. It just seems like we don't know who missed practice, for how long, etc, etc, etc.I won't lie, I do watch mostly watch SEC games and then the big games from other leagues. I saw some high school scores from last night and I thought, WTH. Called some contacts and found out some teams were still playing with 40% of their squad instead of forfeiting. Most of them said they'll get players back in a couple of weeks....but then again, they could lose some others. It is hitting schools hard here in our state.
And now when they do "gel" they may "un-gel" in a week or two.Well openers were always tricky, even pre-COVID 19. If there was head scratching upsets, they were usually in week 1 or week 2.
It takes time for teams to gel.

funny leaving off Iowa and Wisconsin but including NebraskaB1G would be dead as a major football conference if they lost Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, and Nebraska.
funny leaving off Iowa and Wisconsin but including Nebraska
Tennessee is not a blue blood. Auburn has a winning record against them.Regardless of how good/bad they are, Bluebloods are the foundation of every conference outside of the ACC.
Iowa and Wisconsin have indeed been better than Nebraska, but they're not Bluebloods.
USC is the Blueblood foundation of the PAC. If they leave the PAC is a shell. Washington would be next on the list.
OU and Texas were the Foundation of the Big 12. They're leaving and it's now a shell. There is NO secondary.
Alabama and Tennessee are the Blueblood foundation of the SEC. Without them the SEC would rely on recent success which is spotty.

do people really care anymore? congrats you were good 20, 30 70 years ago. what have you done latelyTennessee is 9th in all-time P5 wins. They are a blueblood.
Minnesota has a winning record against Nebraska. Is Minnesota a blueblood?
