Big 12 thread

uh........have a chance at winning the conference?
:noidea:
You certainly can talk that shit.

Including Texas who hasn’t won this lowly conference since your daddy obama occupied the racist house is laughable.

New big xii will be fine without ou and tx

It's our final trip around this shit. SEC awaits. It's going to be great.
If by "fine" you mean parity, I'll agree with you. I think parity will reign supreme. Similar to what has happened the last two years while OU and Texas haven't made the CCG. I don't see enough potential advantage for any of the remaining teams to separate themselves and stay at the top consistently. That will make for a great conference race. It will be a revolving door which won't cause any (fill in the blank) fatigue that happens when one dominates a conference every year. But it won't do much for good rankings at all IMO. That parity has been good for basketball the past few years, but that's because March Madness allows more teams in the tourney. Don't think that will happen in football...even with a 12 team playoff.

OU and Texas have been the alpha dogs...even when they haven't been any good. Who are going to be the next alpha dogs?

Any of the remaining "hateful 8"? I don't see any.

Baylor? No
Iowa State? No
Kansas? No
K-State? No
Oklahoma State? No
TCU? No
Texas Tech? No
West Virginia? No

The new 8? Again, I don't see any.

Arizona? No
Arizona State? No
BYU? No
Cincinatti? No
Colorado? No
Houston? No
UCF? No
Utah? No

They'll all rotate from in and around the top and do the same along the middle and bottom. It'll be fun to watch and the conference race will probably go down to the end of the wire every year. That's the upside.

Closest I see is Utah but with the amount of parity... I wouldnt feel safe saying that they'll be up there every single year.

Yes the B12 will certainly implode without you two retards jacking each other off.

Ohh nooooooooeeeeeessssssss, what will we ever do????????
lol says the guy who is doom and gloom every week on his mountaineers

lol yet we are the only schools that have won a national championship since this conference has been formed.. well outright championships.. not voted by nerds (sorry nu)

But i'm gonna enjoy this ride of Bevo sticking his horns into the asses of all it's opponents this year.. luckily for you Ralphie..you took it last season :)

That he apparently kept the Hateful 8 in the dark is the disturbing part.

Nearly impossible for them all to be asleep at the wheel.

Presidents, Athletic Directors, Board of Directors. Nobody sought details or progress on the TX/OU GOR issue?
Yep, Love to know what FSU, Clemson & UNC think of all this eh @WhosYourDawggy ?

Your love you have showed for Neal Brown this week shouldn’t automatically mean we can’t get that horns up the ass, do I detect a little doom and gloom????

I'm a Whittingham fan but there is no way Utah has the cache to be an alpha dog. And I'm not dissing any of them. I think they are all pretty damn respectable programs. But the only thing close to an "alpha" dog among the 16 of them is Kansas hoops.

Cincinnati at BYU (-2.5)
Houston at Texas Tech (-9.5)
West Virginia at TCU (-10)
Baylor at UCF (-11.5)
#24 Kansas at #3 Texas (-17)
Iowa State at #14 Oklahoma (-20)

Yes, our schedule is soft. Ooh well. Cry more.

I'm not fretting. You seem overconfident with the shalackiing given last year. Our QB situation was deplorable, is what it is. We are not in that situation this year.

why wouldn't i be over confident.. Quinn is back, Brooks has emerged as a good RB.. Sanders, WOrthy, Whitt are also back..now we added AD Mitchell who shows out in the biggest games..

The OL returns.. defense looks legit and plays like it

Sark hasn't even gotten into his full bag.. ou stunts and blitzes.. Quinn excels when he's being blitzed

You still have Gabriel as QB.. he didn't play a year ago and it's going to show during the game.. that guy gets rattled and is going to turn the ball over.. your OL still haven't been able to run consistently.. Lebby throwing screens, verticals and occasional drag routes is so predictable..

So yes I am over confident and I'm ready to be hurt lol

lol ewers is a chucker. All he does is throw up prayers man. We will see what Billy Bowman and Peyton Bowen have to say about that. And Stutsman leads the nation in tackles. He will be a unanamious 1st team All American and probably Butkus winner.

RRR opened up at OU +5.5 and quickly went to +4.5
