Big 12 thread

It seems crazy to want to fire a coach but not know who to bring in if plan A fails.

i think people focus too much on the downside. If you are convinced your current coach can not get your program to its ceiling does it matter if the next guy is a risk? What are you risking? 4 more years of mediocrity? More recruiting losses? Every hire is a risk for a program, odds are you will eventually get it right. Question is does it take 1 roll of the dice to fix the program or 5?

It's because everyone wants Herman to stay at Texas lol

Im hoping OU plays Iowa St in the championship game. Don't get me wrong it would be fun to beat Texass again and give Ehlinger his 5 loss to OU but to be able to avenge an early season loss would be outstanding.

We're not exactly even penciled in at this point.

Two games left to get there.

Next.

Cautious optimism. OU does seem to be playing better each week, but between that Covid bitch and the derp factor, nothing is written in stone.

I think in this situation though unless Urban comes, is it worth it to switch coaches? (would likely be the 3rd straight year of new coordinator’s) Is that going to set the program back even further then sticking with the current guy? Is recruiting going to take an even bigger dive? Remember there is an early signing period in a little over 3 weeks. These are questions that should be asked. Is it worth it to bring in anyone because folks in power hate the current guy?

Herman is 3-1 vs WVU. He could easily be 4-0.

I wouldn’t be sad to see him go.

There are rumors of UT vs ISU being postponed.. I would think that would have to be canceled since they used it's last week of makeup games for KU this past week.

This is a critical game.

They should just cancel the UT-Kansas game instead.

Twitter is saying ISU Mike Rose has a lower leg injury, will miss Friday's game in Austin

I really need this game to be played, and Texas kick the shit out of them.

That in no way means I will be rooting for them.
