Yes.. so i got dealt with a californian who payed straight cash for a home I really liked in New Caney.. Then I was dealt with the lumber shortage which then became the sheetrock shortage. Now they say I have to wait til I close so I can do my expanded patio because most of the labor is now heading towards the Austin and Dallas areas.. and to top it off, they hope the sod picks up so I can close with an actual lawn..unlike the homes getting the sod 2 weeks after closing.
Then there's the furniture shortage for me to deal with once we do close
