Big 12 thread

Had a terrible game, but he is a fantastic QB. Going to see plenty of games like this all over the place this year by other ranked teams and highly touted players. The thing is, as bad as ISU looked today, they are still going to be a factor in the Big Xii - especially in October. Cannot put my finger on why Campbell teams start slow and peter off at the end, but they go balls to the wall in October. fyi: OU @ Iowa State on 10/3.
 
You fucking also-rans are so trash. Time to shed you ladies and get some real teams in this conference. :dhd:

There have been worse days for Iowa State Football! There is a reason, ISU freshmen are issued nut cups at orientation. Back in the day, I saw Iowa State lose to UNI (FCS), Western Michigan (MAC) and Rice (SWC) at home in 1994 during an 0-10-1 season. It rained / snowed or was super cold every home game too! As poorly as ISU played today, the Cyclones have a good team, and Brock Purdy could start for most teams. As for the Covid thing, it is a massive cluster-fuck and not helped by our indifferent Governor!

A close friend of mine betted on Iowa St today and I had no idea why he would bet $500 on them.. I know he had the gambling itch but anyone with a brain knows how they struggle coming out the gate regardless of who the opponent is.. Plus he laid the 12 or so points?? Ouch. Iowa St will be fine and I'd put money on them that they end up beating one of ou, osu, or UT.

OMG! I thought ISU would win, but I knew they could lose, and I wouldn't have bet my left nut on ISU minus 11 today. SMH at your friend throwing money away!

Exactly. I don't give a shit about how many stars these guys are rated. If they aren't willing to work to develop themselves, they need to do something else besides football.
 
If Tom had that attitude, Overshown, Sterns, Mitchell..hell half the team would have been gone after the social justice demands came out. Foster had some other issues as well, so maybe this will be it. I just hope Foster can comeback to his senses.. if not I wish him the best of luck for everything he did last season knowing he wasn't even 80% of himself.
