Big East Basketball

I will say though even if Moore isnt full conditioned. What is shaping up to make this tournament wild is most of these teams have like no depth. So everyone should be gassed come Saturday forsure.

I'd say we are probably the most consistently deep. And even lately Shaka has really cut the rotation. Creightons entire team looked like they might pass out most of that second half.

I think Boum plays like 40 a night these days

Just out of curiosity, how many guys do you think Marquette will lose for next year? Gotta love what Shaka's been able to do regardless of the outcome in March.

It's an anti-Wojo team.

Honestly, I really dont know. First off we have to lose someone we are oversigned. Itjere is most likely he doesnt play at all

Would be pretty nuts if Prosper went pro due to his limitations but hes most likely for that. I think Kam is most likely to get a NIL deal somewhere south. But I think he loves it here and we will pony up NIL to keep guys.

Kolek and Oso id be shocked if they left. TK has already flat stated hes gonna be here(and no chance we dont match offers for him) and hes been quoted talking about how he cant wait for people to see Oso next year as he works on a jumper in the offce season.

Stevie no way.

I just dont know what the young guys will think. Gold and Ross especially clearly are in Shakas long term plans. But do they want to wait? If everyone returns in the starting 5 is Jop good with being 6th man again as a junior? Is Jones the younger good with being spot minutes back up PG again to one of the most valuable players in the league?

Then theres Ellis who is hurt this year but is like a 6'7 guard now and by all accounts shaka really, really like hims.

Basically to answer the question I dont know forsure. We will lose some. I just hope its not from both starters and bench. Either lose 1 or 2 bench guys cause everyone returns. Or lose starters and plug in more talent straight from the system

Omax or Kam for starters. If they stay. I think Jop, Gold or SJ most likely to leave.

Kolek is great to watch.

Finished two shots in final minute with different hand.

I dont see him doing two more years. Especially with his age. But oh boy if he does.

Rumors of Uconns demise were greatly exaggerated

Put Nova in the tourney over UNC

They look good but likely too little too late.

Im actually curious though.

Say Nova wins the last two(Uconn is a tough ask).

Thats a Q2 road win and a big time Q1 win which gives them 3 and a 17-14 record.

Beat shitty Georgetown. Then play X or Prov for another Q1.........idk with how bad this bubble is maybe

They have a similar profile to Seton Hall right now which is next 4 out.

Running the table and reaching the BET finals I think would put them on the bubble.

I would like to see it. There's not many mid majors on the bubble this year, so it's not like anybody else deserves in much more.

Congrats.

They deserved it.

Tore up the bottom of the league.

Ironically thats my worry.

These bottom teams suck so bad we are sleep walking through these games for like 20 minutes.

Gotta cook for 40 minutes in March.

It's really going to depend on matchups and draw for Marquette.

Cause I don't think they're going to beat themselves.

It's a different team than the one that was demolished by UNC .

Yeah theres a couple potential tough 6 seeds we could get which would suck. But mostly im pretty optimistic for the tournament because we are really tough to plan for. Sure you can watch film. But I think its more of a have to play it to learn it thing. And unlike the BE teams these squards only get one shot.

So im hopeful

I HATE our BE tourney draw though. Not that it matters much. Way rather win the league. But it did fuck us. Butler(just cause such a slog of a game) or SJU(at home and full slop chaos) to start. Then fucking Uconn(worst possible match up) or Creighton(preseason #1 in league). Woof.

Yea having to play St Johns twice is such a pain in the ass. At home and they can get hot.

I'd be hoping Butler somehow gets the 8.

100%. As dull as Butler is to play. Wed legit have to play awful to lose imo.

Where as with SJU things can avalanche much more without requiring a complete dog shit effort.

This Nova/SHU game is a great one.

Want Nova personally.

But I think for MU, maybe a SHU win is better. MIght be a chance where SHU can sneak into Q1 if they win this. And NOva can still do that if they beat Uconn saturday.
