If this keeps going South on him I can see them pulling the trigger. Thad basically had two bad years and was let go. And that was with much more success than Holtmann has had.

He needs to be fired yesterday.

The recruiting class for 24 sucks. Just be done with him.

Shoulda happened after that pathetic display last night.

He’s not getting fired though. Our AD is an empty suit cruising to retirement in July. And he’s buddy buddy with Holtmann. We are most likely stuck with him heading into next year unless the new AD comes in in July and pulls the plug. Which means next year will be another lost season too.

Smith basically only ever cared about the football program he made safe don’t rock the boat hires at every other sport. Just be nice and don’t get into trouble and that’s good enough for him.

I hope they lose every game the rest of the year so they have no choice but to fire him.

I don't know what the hell happens to his teams but he completely loses control of them.

Obviously never want an 0-2 week but that wouldnt even really hurt yall that much. Just would mostly take away any hope at shooting up to a 1 seed.

1-1 is a quality week thats a Q1 win and potentially an elite one.

Gotta get a W tonight. If for nothing else, because Wisconsin took one of the most exciting players to ever come out of Omaha and turned him into a passer.
 
Must win for Nebraska tonight, with the way they play on the road. I don't think they'll be able to make the tournament without winning this one.

Nebraska needs to play like they did in their home win over Purdue.
Wisconsin needs to play like they did in their road loss @ Penn St.

The refs calling a few home cookin' fouls on the badgers and ignoring them on Nebraska won't hurt. :happy:
