Big Ten Basketball

Holtmann sucks

that is all.

Thad recruited as a top 10 team until his back took him down a peg. There is no excuse for this bullshit.

It's still not a good look despite everyone winning. League played 2 semi decent teams and lost both. OSU didn't look good, neither did NW, who I think both have tournament aspirations.

I don't expect us to be that good, we might improve enough to sneak into the tournament later in the year. But there's just too many questions with this team. Offensively especially.

The recruiting hasnt been TERRIBLE to be fair, but he just can't seem to land that spark player. It's always decently rated guys, but they are the types who are ranked high based more on what they could be and have major holes in their games that need to be worked on.

very early. Big 10 still has a lot of big games coming.

MSU was pretty clearly overrated entering but preseason polls love continuity(makes sense) and they got the Izzo bump plus credit for beating a 1 handed Kolek.

He's just not pieced together the kind of roster that should be relatively easy to do so at OSU. He caught KBD in an insane year and won one tourney game but he has a losing record in the BIG since that year.

Their only real solid team got beat in the first round.

Good first game for Iowa with the 110-68 win over UND

I'm cautiously optimistic with the depth we have and the shooting

But we don't NEED to depend on the shooting this year as we've got some nice athletes

Time will tell if they can all keep playing well

Also, the B10 selling their souls to fucking peacock is disgusting. What is this shit.

OSU vs TAMU and Bucky vs Tennessee both on that friday? On top of a few trash games like the gophers one.

I knew there were some peacock games this year. But 4 in 1 night with 2 of them being marquee non con games? Brutal

Zona vs. Purdue also only on Peacock. Along with some big time conference games.

Big Friday night for the B1G:

#15 Texas A&M at Ohio State
Davidson vs. Maryland
Dayton at Northwestern
#9 Tennessee at Wisconsin

3 homes games you gotta take care of. MD should beat Davidson.

OSU did beat Dayton in exhibition....and then pooped all over themselves against Oakland

big early litmus test

I think it's like 5 bucks a month or some shit but it definitely all adds up

but that said I added it also

Yeah, I added it before CFB season knowing ND would have at least one game on it, along with a bunch of B1G games. The gophers have I think 5 games on it, so it's definitely worth it IMO. Plus it has stuff for the my kids to watch April through August. Lol.

I did watch the Rutgers/Princeton game the other night, and the PBP guy was the ND radio guy, and someone from the B1G Network last year as the analyst so they did put good resources towards it from that perspective. The halftime crew had Pastner and Jordan Cornette formerly of espn. I'd much rather pay for this than BTN+.

For sure. OSU will need to play better. A&M is pretty deep and experienced. Either way, great game and glad it's a true home environment.

Gophs actually looking really good. Guard play is such a huge upgrade over last year.

NW saves the day. Not a great start to the year for the B1G. MD losing is a bad loss.

Michigan looking like the 2nd best team in the league. Absolutely destroyed St Johns.
