They badly lack guards which you simply need to have options of(see gonzaga)...if Johnson gets healthy and right thatll help

Trey Galloway is a really solid veteran role guy, but he should not be your current top guard option

Yeah, their guard play isn't the best. Johnson and Galloway is probably about avg in the league. But their front court is really talented. This is a terrible look for IU. Shoot 50% from 3 and get run out of the gym.

Yeah tonight was only Johnsons 7th game tho and by the looks of his stat line he may not have survived it and got hurt again.

Ware and Reneau are nuts but its just not a lot of a big man game. And its even worse when those bigs are actually the only guys who even really shoot the 3 well in very limited attempts

Its a guards game, it always will be even if 4 preseason AA are forwards. Hassan Diarra and Stevie Mitchell are scrappy guys that can help good teams win. But it aint good when with a injured XJ they could arguably be the best guards on Indianas team.
 
Ohio State tried all they could to blow a 13 point halftime lead to Rutgers at home. They managed to hang on 76-72 but the trend of Holtmann teams struggling to finish games strong lives on
