Big Ten Basketball

I mean my 9 year old knew to foul there

It cost the Gophers a game earlier this season. It did look like he was trying to foul, but either the refs missed it, or he needs to do it more emphatically.

Well ill take the W but yeah that was bad coaching or really bad execution

10 point win looks better in the metrics than a 3 point win. Good coaching! Lol.

Bruce Thornton is a total loser

Pulling up from 3 with 4 seconds left on the clock down 1. When both teams just traded lead in the final 15 seconds drawing fouls

Id cut his ass. Cant have that kind of selfishly stupid running loose

Team?

Its weird to watch a super competent Wisconsin offense

I imagine this is what it would feel like if Iowa ever had a good defense..... ever....

Illinois with a wooooooof home loss, right as everyone was starting to call them the clear most talented team in BIG

I think they still have the most talent in the B1G, but yeah they are inconsistent as hell. Highest ceiling IMO in the conference, but as we've seen the floor is pretty low as well.

Yeah I probably worded that horribly. Talent wise it still probs holds. But more so most wanted to crown them

Then again a lot wanted to crown Ucla two weeks ago with their schedule and that team might murder their coach.

Big race to me is Illinois, Purdue and the Michigan's(truthfully think Oregon is Ucla lite frauds). With no clear cut fav. And no title contender.

I was higher on UCLA prior to the season started, but after the first couple weeks I cooled on them. I think they might struggle to make the tournament at this point.

I'm still pretty high on Oregon, despite Illinois hammering them. They've played a pretty difficult schedule so far and have some great wins OOC.

It is wide open though. No great teams, but a bunch of teams that I can see being seeded on the 3 through 7 lines. It's a super deep league, just probably not a true top 10 team.

Yup agreed. A lot of really solid teams that can upset really anyone.

As far as Oregon goes, there is a chance I'm underselling them and overselling MSU. Based off games. But when I watch Oregon, even with the good wins they looks so blahh in almost every game. Where as MSU has lost their toughest games, but they are pounding teams regularly when I watch outside those games.

Oregon is pretty inconsistent, as is often the case with their mishmash of transfers. I'd expect them to peak in 6 weeks.

Well, MSU making me look smart in the short term

More domination
