Holtmann Jr getting blown out at home by fucking Northwestern which will likely put us out of the tourney. Get rid of him now cut the losses and move forward with a hopefully non lazy hire.

The coach didn't shoot less than 33% from the field, and 4 for 21 from 3. If anything, OSU is an undisciplined team that can't shoot.

Diebler blows, he's just a extension of Holtmann, it was a lazy ass hire by the athletic department, they didn't even want to take their time to look at anyone else

Even good coaches have bad seasons. Relax, come back strong next year. As for you, get on a career track to become an AD. You want to run the team, might as well get paid for it.

It's OSU basketball. It's one of the best jobs in the country. It was a pretty uninspiring hire given his track record. He has every right to be mad, especially when you see what Michigan has done in year 1 with May.

definitely the last thing they needed before their west coast road trip

now 7-11 against Q1/Q2 with 5-8 Q1 record. WAB is 43 and SOR is 49. they are in trouble if they can't take care of business down the stretch.

There's no excuse for not making the tourney with this roster. It's piss poor coaching. This is what you get when you hire a assistant who's just a extension of the previous failed coach. It was a completely lazy hire by the athletic department.

Too many Ohio State fans use the "we are a football school" excuse to brush off this crap.

The Athletic department carries the same sentiment too. Ohio State isn't a top 5 program all time or anything but we should be a top 25ish program and we should at least make the tournament more often than not. Hiring a assistant of the former failed coach is like a MAC program move, they didn't even try to look at anyone else they just said "this is good enough" to Diebler and handed him the job.

Looking at your schedule and results, I see 5 1-possession losses. Close but without looking at play-by-play, it seems like the team is not handling pressure well.
