Big Ten Basketball

Who would be on your short list if you were hiring a new coach?

First call would be to Eric Mussleman. I don't think it's particularly realistic, but given his family ties to the program and area, he might give it a thought.

More realistic candidates IMO:

Craig Smith at Utah State
Niko Medved at Colorado State
Mark Pope at BYU(not sure it's realistic)
Darian DeVries at Drake

It's not an easy job, but has potential due to the great high school talent. Just need to be able to keep those kids home.

Big game for the Buckeyes this afternoon. Hope they can take care of business.

Who would be on your short list if you were hiring a new coach?
Brian Dutcher (he's on older side, but he's a successful coach that wants to go to MN)

Niko medved

Eric mussleman

Just when I think MSU got their shit together.....

That was all ball there. #0 never had a chance but of course refs bail him out

Tough to not root for Iowa. You just dont see 5 white guys on the floor anymore that aren’t getting beat down lol

Murray is gonna be a good player.

Iowa playing really well defensively

OSU looks awful though. Launching bricks from all over.

See what happens when you make open shots, couldn’t make any open shots in the 1st

Triple down on Garza, and Weiscamp will fuck ya up

Solid win . Defense has really played well the last 7 games save 1 half . Very very nice

Told you Ohio State was overrated... LMAO.

This weekend felt like the first real weekend of college basketball. Didn't have too many games cancelled and there were some decent ones.

I never saw osu as a legit 1 seed. Frankly, it's tough to settle on a fourth #1.

MN news reporter saying pitino Deadman walking

the Big Ten coaching ranks needs more diversity imo

Minnesota should hire Danny Manning

Yup. Him and Coyle already had the talk
Yeah, reports are talk to team was "interesting' after that meeting before practice, it was essentially a save my job situation

He's a very likeable guy which is why I think some still defend him. I think he does get too much blame, I think he's had some bad luck, but 2 tourney apperances in 8 years, one tourney win, and an abymsal B1G record. Look, I'm not asking to be Duke, Kentucky, or even Wisconsin, just make Tournament semi regularly, give me a sweet 16 run once in awhile
