Ken Pom still has Michigan way ahead of Seton Hall despite both teams destroying their first two opponents.

Makes me question the formula behind the system. RPI looks more realistic right now, of course ... super early.

I heard somewhere that it takes about 20 games into the season to while away all the numbers that are baked into it from the previous season. Once the end of January rolls around that'll look better.
 
The thing im kind of shocked in with Iowa so far is how good the offense looks

Losing Garza, Weiskamp, Fredrick and Nunge i expected the D to get better as those guys were primarily offensive players but i worried theyd struggle to score

Its been pretty shocking to see how much better the ball movement is this year and having multiple guys who can get to the basket is opening up some wide open looks

Iowa made 20 3s last night. I wasnt sure they had enough shooting behind JBo but man have i been wrong so far

Iowa is scoring 97 ppg through 4 and have played the scrubs at least the last 12 minutes in 3 of those

Its a totally different style for Iowa but the offense still looks great AND the D looks better

Ill temper my enthusiasm by looking at the schedule but ill be honest i thought we would struggle a bit early to find the formula. Hasnt happened yet. Still may

I thought wed struggle to score early even given the schedule. We havent. Lot more athleticism this year but yes ultimately ill need to see it vs quality opposition first

OOC basketball is tough to gauge but im excited by what im seeing so far in comparison to what i expected . Are you not?

I am. I'm quietly optimistic so far.
 
Illinois is awful. Cincy currently on a 50-16 run lol
