Yeah, it's been a crazy OOC. The perceived bottom tier teams, I'll say not projected to finish top 7 in the B1G, teams like Iowa, Wisconsin, NW, Minn have performed really well OOC. And teams in the top half(Illinois, Michigan, MD, Rutgers) have performed pretty poorly. I don't want to say MD has thrown in the towel, but I would be really surprised if they played themselves back into tournament discussion. Same with Rutgers. On the flip, teams like Wisconsin and Iowa seemed like almost locks to make the tournament now. And the Gophers look like they'll finish OOC 10-0, so if they can somehow get to like 8/9 wins in conference(which would be well above what I'd ever predict) they have a great shot to get in as well.

i think people were too hard on Ben myself

he wasn't my first choice, but I think hire was based on more than the PC reasons his detractors kept chiming in

I'm pleasantly surprised with how they've been playing. I'm seeing what I wanted to see out of this season. I stated w/l record didn't matter to me

I wanted to watch a team that played team defense and good ball movement, and I'm getting that. Wins are added bonus

Our lack of talent will catch up to us though.
 
Clash of a couple top tier teams tonight. Illinois @ Iowa. Kobe vs the world. I still give the edge to Iowa by homecourt margin.
 
Total horseshit performance by Iowa tonight

Missed wide open shots all night. Couldnt rebound. Missed free throws.

Pretty abysmal by everyone. Very disappointing.
 
Iowa has a 21-2 run , a 10-1 run and is +12 in turnover margin is still down 10 ar home with 4 left

If that tells you how bad theyve played the other 28 minutes
 
I really have no clue how you have 3 runs totally 39-3 and are plus 13 in turnovers at home and still lose lol.

Its pretty preposterous

I thought we were the better team, in all honesty. But MSU shot it so much better from 3 that was the difference. We got a lot of good looks too, just want dropping. Don't expect to beat Michigan, but should be 10-2 heading into January.
