Illinois man handling the gophs. Don’t have the bodies for Cockburn per usual.

That’ll be the issue against a lot of these BIG10 teams in conference.

Michigan blows so that would be the simple explanation.

Also at the collegiate level. Dickinson isn’t close to the force Kofi is to bully the No size gophers

Yeah identity is the important part forsure.

The one thing that sucks tho is that most of this roster is completely irrelevant for the future. Aside from Battle most of the future is still to come.

would be a little better if it was identity plus growth.

I get that, but considering when Ben arrived, I think his approach was better than tying up scholarships with reaches just to get younger players

I thinking show future recruits style of play and what we can do with this collection will pay dividends

or I just have maroon and gold glasses on
 
i remember when i mentioned that Juwan Howard walked into a great situation and @ericd7633 VIOLENTLY attacked me for suggesting such a thing

Oh yeah definitely not blaming Bens approach. He didn’t have a lot of options/leverage to young transfers.

Although if rumors are true sounds like he was a bit delusional on getting guys like Roddy and Garcia. But he had to sell himself for job ha.

Just is a bit of a bummer knowing that most of what’s being watched this year is irrelevant. But if this rag tag group stays competent all year hopefully it will really appeal to true talent like you said.
 
Ayo night at Illinois was cool. Kid is special. Even cooler D Derozan was there too
 
Nebraska losing by 30 to Rutgers.

Time to consider just dropping all men's sports.

Game was pretty much decided by the 12-0 run in the first half. Went from 1 to 13 and stayed between 11 and 19 the rest of the way til the end

Iowa played ok other than that stretch

I will say that Fran needs to have an open and honest heart to heart with JBo

Guy came back to play SG and shot 1 time the first 35 minutes

This team NEEDS his shooting. If hes not going to hunt his shot theres no point in him being out there at all. Hes not as good on D as the other options. Hes on the court to make shots which wont happen if you dont take any

Then the last 5 he buries like 4 3s and the lead goes from 19 to 9

I mean theres no reason he shouldnt be shooting 12+ times a game especially when Murray isnt out there
 
Luke Loewe simply cannot be your 3rd option
