Big Ten Basketball

I'm not saying they'll get a 1 seed, but they should get a look. Their resume is ridiculously good. They should have been higher at the 16 Reveal IMO, and should be at worst a 2 seed right now. Beat Nebraska should lock up a 2 at worst, no matter what happens in the B1G tournament.

Wisconsin and Providence should have been ranked a little higher all year. Before Providence lost again.

Wisconsin will be battling Villanova and Purdue for the last 2 seed likely.

@stakesarehigh

we suck again GIF

Wisconsin should seriously get a look at a #1 seed. 16-4 against Q1/Q2. I know they get knocked for low predictive metrics, but what's the point of playing 30 games if you're going to seed on potential? Doesn't make sense. The sad thing is, if it came down to them and Duke, Duke is definitely getting it. Despite being 11-3 against Q1/Q2.

I don't think it really matters and I don't think they're a 1 seed. In fact I think they're probably getting a 3 and that's about right
Me too. Does the committee still use the entire season to seed? I've always thought how teams are playing down the stretch should get more weight than what they seem to get.

Even Purdue’s best teams can’t seem to put their foot on everyone’s throat and bring it home. Interesting

does this mean they go far now on the tourney?

Ivey is one of the best OFFENSIVE players this year IMO. But damn, his Matador defensive effort and execution sucks. Or is that just my observation?

Weird because Purdue is usually defensively stout. Maybe they save it for the madness. Who knows. I don’t think he’s awful defensively. But he could be on coast mode before he gets to the show

He’s a stud no doubt

Hepburn only had a chance at that bank shot prayer because of how bad Iveys D was. He got so badly crossed up and turned around then bascially dropped back the wrong direction.

It was brutal.

Yes. They've done away with the last 10 games stipulation quite a few years back. They used to take into account how teams performed down the stretch, but not now.

Historically, teams with Purdue's profile, don't make deep runs in March. They are elite offensively, but are awful defensively this season. They are essentially Iowa from last year, but not even as good defensively as Iowa was. If they are having an off night offensively, their defense won't be able to pull them through.

Purdue used to be one of the tougher defensive matchups in the big 10. They weren’t just good either but tenacious

That’s weird

Hepburn has been a clutch player for Wisconsin.
