Big12 race

Still think we should go with 4-team pods. It's a way to preserve annual rivalry games and ensure that everyone plays every other team in the league within 2-3 seasons.
I probably wouldn’t hate that but would take some getting used to.

Figured it was something like that.
Az State vs BYU was the only head to head. Thank you frickin' big conferences.
Kansas, K-State, Utah and UCF played all four.
Of the 8 losses among the four, Kansas is responsible for 3 of them! They're probably the best team!

Arizona State - Beat BYU, Did not play Colorado or Iowa State
BYU - Lost to Az State, Did not play Colorado or Iowa State
Colorado - Did not play Az State, BYU or Iowa State
Iowa State - Did not play Az State, BYU or Colorado

Here's how the rest of the league faired against the four. BYU's 2nd loss was to Az State. Losses by the four in bold.

Arizona - BYU, Colorado, Az State
Baylor - Colorado, BYU, Iowa State
Cincy - Az State, Colorado, Iowa State
Houston - Iowa State, BYU
Kansas - Az State, Iowa State, BYU, Colorado
K-State - BYU, Colorado, Az State, Iowa State
Oklahoma State - BYU, Az State, Colorado
TCU - None
Texas Tech - Az State, Iowa State, Colorado
UCF - Colorado, Iowa State, BYU, Az State
Utah - Az State, BYU, Colorado, Iowa State
West Virginia - Iowa State
Looks Like Kansas (agree with you) vs. Texas Tech would be the best Big XII CCG!

Or Kansas vs Baylor...who happen to be playing this week in Waco. Would probably be the best game of the week if it weren't for Iowa State/K-State game because of the significance regarding CCG.

B12 has been a lot of fun this year

I dont get the complaints
My only complaint is that I wish Iowa State ended the year against Oklahoma State instead of Kansas State! / sarcasm. Seriously, should be another nut cuncher on Saturday Night, and it is going to be C-O-L-D in Ames! High of 27 F during the day and low of 9 F that night. So, I'm going to pass. I've lived in Iowa for a while, but I'm not that stupid. I sho' hate it if ISU wins the Big XII and somehow gets to host a Playoff Game as the #8 seed. Yikes! The players will be fine, but the Fans, don't forget about the Fans! First World CFB Problems. :)

Now watch K-State and Arizona win and the CCG is Colorado vs BYU!

It's possible! K-State is -1 @ Iowa State for a reason. If Iowa State wins, I will be thrilled even if they don't make the Big XII CCG. Losing to K-State would suck balls and added to a list that includes:

1959: Lost Final Game @ Oklahoma which cost them a share of Big 7 Championship and Orange Bowl bid.
1976: Lost Final Game @ Okla. State which cost them a share of Big 8 Championship and Orange Bowl bid.

2004: Lost Final Game vs. Mizzou @ Ames that cost them the Big XII North Championship.
2005: Lost Final Game @ Kansas that cost them the Big XII North Championship.

2020: Lost to Okahoma in the Big XII CCG.

Let's Go State!
Beat the Purple Kitties!
Win the Big XII!

You aren’t a serious person
I realize that's a hard fact to take, because you know WVU is stuck with Neal Brown for a while longer. Same as LSU is stuck with Brian Kelly. I'll tell you this tho, taking what Brown has to work with and what Kelly has to work with, Brown is doing a better job. :sigh:

Brown is playing a far easier schedule than what Kelly has to. Sure the amount of talent at LSU is far greater but I’d argue consistently so is the competition.

And I thought WVU was stuck with Neal, but now I’m not so sure given how he and his wife and kids were all somber after the win Saturday. But who the hell knows.

Sorry for the double response. But WVU isn’t even in the top 4 of hottest B12 teams at the moment. (Kansas, ASU, Baylor, and TCU). We’ve won 3 of 4, none of which are wins over current bowl teams. And 2 of those wins were by Arizona continually having stupid mistakes and a Cincinnati QB that was literally our best hope and only reason we won. (Pick 6 and fumbled that led to a scoop and score, we won by 7).

WVU is at best mid. But they really should be 4-7 right now.

Gonna be a long cold winter in Stillwater..

Who has the rundown on what schools make the CCG depending on what happens this last week?
