Re: TexasProbably the one-year turnarounds, especially Tulane.
Going from worst to first in the nation’s best G5 conf, being the only 10-win team in the conf, and earning a CCG berth in one season is pretty surprising.
TCU: 5-7, now 12-0
Troy: 5-7, now 10-2
Washington: 4-8, now 10-2
In the last 3 seasons, Duke went a combined 10-25. They went 8-4 with a 1st year HC.
Texas also went 8-4 with basically every loss coming down to the wire. That wasn’t expected.

Sure, side effect of the poor season. How about Chryst being fired midseason...that was a surprise to me
This. TCU was picked to finish 7th. Seven. Siete.TCU being undefeated and in line for a playoff spot.
I really thought Arkansas would be in LSU’s position this year, but they greatly disappointed
