Show me on this doll where Bill Russell touched you..."Eleven is the smallest positive integer requiring three syllables in the English language, but more important than that, may I take this opportunity to remind you that 11 is the number of rings I have?" - Bill Russell talking to the girl working at Dunkin Donuts, who, like everyone else, doesn't give a shit
He touched me just as often as he touched a rebound when playing against Wilt or anyone other than 6' tall 40-year-old white guys named Stan.Show me on this doll where Bill Russell touched you...
He played against tiny little white guys with glasses.I've often wondered how a no talent hack like Russell managed to win 2 NCAA championships, an Olympic Gold Medal and 11 NBA titles.![]()
He played for a virulent racist who controlled the NBA and had all the top talent on his team. Bill Russell won 11 titles during the Depression against teams like the Wilkes-Barre Lions. He played against tiny little white guys with glasses.
You’re welcome.
His first career loss came against my Pistons. My Zollner Pistons. He played for a virulent racist who controlled the NBA and had all the top talent on his team. Bill Russell won 11 titles during the Depression against teams like the Wilkes-Barre Lions.
"greatest athlete ever"![]()
Watch what you say about my Providence Sharks, bitch!...against a bunch of 6' white guys on teams like the Lancaster Hawks and Providence Sharks.
Literally couldn't make today's G-League.
I'm offended anyway.I always thought a good modern comparison would be Dennis Rodman, defense and rebounding no offense.
Except Dennis excelled at that. He was the best in the league at it. Bill Russell never was. Wilt dominated this guy his whole career.I always thought a good modern comparison would be Dennis Rodman, defense and rebounding no offense.

Bill Russell was just there. Solid, dependable 6' 10" guy when the average height in the NBA was 6' 2", the average color was white and the average name was Ralph.
Now I got the Bunkers singing Those Were The Days stuck in my head.I miss Ralph. The average name now has so many symbols in it it looks like an expletive in a black and white comic strip from back when Hoover was fucking things up and Bill Russell was stepping over Ralphs.
Now I got the Bunkers singing Those Were The Days stuck in my head.
Thanks for that.
All the girls Wilt Chamberlain laid.....Boy the way George Mikan played...
All the girls Wilt Chamberlain laid.....
If it wasn't for that 6'7" guy Farmer he would be towering over his midget teammates. There were like 40 colleges when he played college basketball as well and the Sweet Sixteen was the 1st round. Like I said, put him in the 70's, 80's, 90's or today's game--his accomplishments were great but that doesn't make him individually a great player.

Those were the days!6 foot 2 could still get paid
...then along came Elvin Hayes! Those were the days!
Against the Springfield Bobcats.Russell was greater in his day than anybody but Jordan in his day.
