Bo Nix

USC is the only team with a shot and we don't have a playoff caliber defense.

For this year, I'd be happy if we finish in the top 10 and get a Rose Bowl or other NY6 bowl bid.

And why is an FSU fan trying to talk shit?

I don't know, I'd trust an FSU fan when it comes to trash. He's watched ACC football for 11 weeks this season.

You can split hairs all you want. Sure, Lanning didn't call the TO when Nix wanted back in before that ill-fated 4th down play. Questionable play call on that 4th down going for a run up the middle with a backup QB and no threat it would be a pass play. I'm sure you can come up with many more.

And Nix didn't find a way to overcome all of that on the last drive of the game.

And end of the day...that's the difference.

Some Oregon fans were talking about a Heisman possibility for him. Well, that was his potential "Heisman moment" and he blew it.

Did Caleb Williams play well against Utah?

If there had been a few minutes on the clock, I would agree with you. But expecting them to move the ball 50 yards in 45 seconds is a reach. Players can play really well, even if their team loses. I didn't realize that was a controversial statement lol

Nah, 45 seconds was plenty of time since they only needed to get within field goal range.

It isn't. It also shouldn't be controversial to point out Nix didn't do something extra special, even if he shouldn't be blamed.

I guess but you could apply that logic to any player who loses a game. It's meaningless

I guess that's a take. I thought it was his best performance of the year, to be honest.

And it still wasn't enough to win. He got the ball back with 48 seconds left and didn't get his team within field goal range. That was his "Heisman moment" and he didn't get it done. That's why you haven't seen me talking about him being a Heisman candidate.

He also had opportunities to basically end that game before halftime and didn't get that done either.

In a thread created to hype up Nix by a poster that had been calling him a Heisman front runner, a ducks fan isn't happy people are only pointing out Nix didn't have a Heisman moment in an otherwise solid game.

What assholes we all are.

LOL Bo Nix was never the Heisman front runner. Nobody besides OD believed that

To be fair though, that's basically the level he had been playing at since the Georgia game. He was never a frontrunner but was actually in the convo based on what several reporters were saying.

Had he won them the game on that last drive, he'd really be a serious candidate.

Sure, if Oregon finished 12-1 and Bo continued to put up numbers, he would have been in the conversation.

And I agree. Bo played well last night. He played just as well last night as he did in the games they won. That was my original point

Oh it is what it is. Pac 12 sucks been shitty and still can’t play D. FSU was dominate for almost 2 decades then sucked, now getting better and we will see how things go.

Your vag hurt because the Pac 12 licks balls? Lol cmon man that conference is awful. When is the last time they got a team even in the playoff?

Is that a fair question?

Not sure an ACC fan should be talking about a conference 'being shitty'. The ACC has essentially been Clemson and that's it for 6 or 7 years and this year, the Pac-12 is definitely a better conference than the ACC.

Sorry -- thought you were a FSU fan. It looks like you are an Illinois fan. In that case -- I apologize ahead of time for the ass whipping Illinois is about to get next weekend. :)
