And UGA fell 5 yards short in the SECCG. Damn shame. And then Florida got the Sugar Bowl bid despite us beating them H2H and they didn’t even show up vs Louisville
 
I've gotta say, all this stuff, the Portal, NIL, coaches bouncing around for $10 million a year-- I feel myself eventually shutting down on college.

I think the problem with 2012 and beyond is that getting there is just good enough for the PTB at Notre Dame. They acted like they arrived just by getting there. That’s how far expectations fell there.

Well that story hadn’t broke until after the game but their defense was pretty damn good that year. I just think they were thrilled to be there and it looked like it.

I was on Fannation at the time and the consensus prediction for the game was ND hadn’t allowed a rushing TD all season and Bama wouldn’t be able to score and ND would win big
