Whoever said that was a dumbass. They had definitely allowed rushing TD’s. The Belldozer had one right off the top of my headI was on Fannation at the time and the consensus prediction for the game was ND hadn’t allowed a rushing TD all season and Bama wouldn’t be able to score and ND would win big
chewy is the only intelligent poster to come from fan nation and he advocated for baseball players to pimp out their home runs by riding their bats like it was a toy ponyWhoever said that was a dumbass. They had definitely allowed rushing TD’s. The Belldozer had one right off the top of my head
Perhaps you missed my consensus on the game.I was on Fannation at the time and the consensus prediction for the game was ND hadn’t allowed a rushing TD all season and Bama wouldn’t be able to score and ND would win big

You forgot Van "Down By The River"!!Perhaps you missed my consensus on the game.
A big ND guy by the name of Piratey(?) talked big. As much as OD does about Oregon.
Then there was The Old Timer. He hated Bama and much of the SEC. He said he didn't care about the 9 point spread, ND was going to pound bama.
I think much of that talk was just anti-bama and the SEC. They were just hoping.
I remembered Van, he was was out there alright, but not like the others. "Most" of the other was pure hard core. Which is great. They had the passion for their team. Van was just "different", in a good way. He was always a good read. I didn't want to put him with the rest. You forgot Van "Down By The River"!!
And the "antics" he did when ND lost... CLASSIC!!![]()
Yeah. My thought was they would need some weird breaks like turnovers to have a punchers chance because I knew our offense would struggle against their defense. I thought MAYBE our defense can hold them in check.L O L
Most of us realistic ND fans who knew how that game was gonna turn out realized it was more a matter of not so much winning, but how bayud we was gonna lose.
Alot of peeps forget ... ND backed into that NCG and got punished, accordingly.
just came here to post this. What a salty bitch
I love how much of a "gotcha" this is supposed to be like he's the next deep throat holding onto classified information that he can only drop at the right time.
Yeah I’m shocked, shocked I tell you that a guy who famously turned purple yelling at a player would do such a thing.Haha no shit huh! I went read the replies to that tweet and some are so fucking hilarious. He ruined any chance of being taken seriously with that! haha Held on to the photo for 8 years for what he thought was a golden opportunity to get the most out of it..... and it backfired!
Then he immediately flew to Baton Rouge and effectively said those guys aren’t good enough to win a title. Why did he cut off the recording? Here is the full text....
Good morning, guys. Thanks for getting up here in short order, short notice. As you know, I sent out a text last night trying to give you as much notice as possible given the circumstances that we all know that happened relative to social media and information getting out,” started Kelly. “Look, I know we have been through this together. I recruited virtually everybody in this room. I want to be able to tell you face to face why we’re at where we’re at.
“That is, very simply, that the past 12 years have been the most incredible 12 years of my life for me and my family being here at Notre Dame. It’s magical what we’ve been able to build with the most incredible student-athletes, the ones that I’m looking at right now.
“So, many times people look in for a reason to blame or there was a reason for something — there was nothing here but first-class in everything that Notre Dame has done for me and my family. I saw my time here as a blessing working with incredible men on a day-to-day basis.”
Kelly: ‘But there comes a time where you look in your life for another opportunity.’
Continuing, Kelly stated that there’s nobody at fault — he’s simply looking for a new challenge.
“But there comes a time where you look in your life for another opportunity. And I felt like it was time in my life for another challenge. And I saw that opportunity in a very short window and felt that it was best for me and my family to pursue a new challenge,” stated Kelly. “So there is no one to blame. There is nobody that is at fault. Nobody did anything wrong. You guys have been the backbone of this program in what you’ve accomplished and will continue to do that.
“I think you’re one of the four best teams in the country. Jack [Swarbrick] is going to get somebody that will continue to lead this program in incredible fashion. I don’t know what it holds for us moving forward, but I hope to heck it means you’re playing for the national championship because you absolutely deserve it.”
Kelly: ‘Thank you for allowing me to pursue what I love to do.’
Finally, Brian Kelly thanked his team for the opportunity to speak directly with them. Additionally, he wished everyone the best — letting them know how much he appreciated his players.
“So from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank every one of you for giving me this opportunity to speak to you directly because you don’t get that chance very often. And to thank you for allowing me to pursue what I love to do and that’s develop 18 to 21 year olds,” stated Kelly. “You will continue to achieve at the highest level and have great success no matter what moves forward for you. So, again, thank you.
