Don't have to. China owns controlling interest in most of the worlds major lithium and cobalt production mining operations. Those egg rolls aren't stupid. They will own you one way or another.

Lithium is very abundant everywhere.

Lithium is an element represented on the Periodic Table.

An "element" cannot be broken down into any other substance...and yet of all the substances found in the Earth's crust, it is the 25th most abundant.

So yeah, we won't run out of it....EVER!

If Solid State becomes the norm for batteries, then lithium is no longer needed and China can go fuck themselves.
