I am ok with Ulreich with Salzburg, Ulreich is not the problem. The problems are everything in front of him and I mean everyting.. Ulreich made a couple great saves yesterday to save the tie. He had a breakaway save versus Furth too.

So who is out still with COVID for Salzburg? That is the key. I still think Bayern will beat Salzburg. But next round this shit needs to stop. Should have Phonsie, Goretzka, Neuer back for whoever they get. But the way they are playing now, the next round will probably be the end for this season unless miraculously players like Coman, Gnabry, Upa, Pavard become Ribery, Lahm, Boateng, Robben.

My recording of the last game started after the lineups were shown. So I was left to figure out who was playing by watching for a bit.

I was ticking off a few good things, some questionable ones and several I guess you gotta selections.

But the mix was flat and timing was not there, just missed many times but still missed. Ending in no shot.

And the other way I thought a goal was there 3 times at least. Better lucky than good.

I think they can field a much better lineup for the cup match, Noyer should be back? But he doesn't score goals does he?

I love the fact that working from home allows me to watch with my lunch. And of course maybe a couple of these which I've found quite cheap at my local booze can. I have no idea how they rank in the grand scheme of beers, but they are 7% and way cheaper than Lucky Lager/ml. I liked Czechvar. Tried this. You know, Czechs, Slovaks, Bob's yer uncle?

1 goal against Frankfurt.
4 against Furth but no one cares.
2 goals against Bochum.

What is going on with this offensive talent? I am done with Gnabry. Sell him. That has to be a better option now than him. Head just not in games.

So let's see 10 points up on Dortmund and Dortmund has two games in hand. One again Bielefeld tomorrow. That puts them 7 back. Ok, the makeup game with Mainz this week. Won't be easy. Win that, they now 4 back. Win the second Der Klassiker 1 point back. Bayern ineptness has Dortmund a real shot even though 10 back right now.

I am already through with Nagelsmann. The boy blunder!!! You know who is a better coach than Nagelsmann? Hoeness at Hoffenheim. Team in 4th with limited talent. Hell of a job coaching.

Also Brazzo!! Talentwise this team is headed for mediocrity in the next few seasons.

They are for sure missing him badly. The colour guy on the broadcast I had recorded kept talking about how they were exposed at the rear when they were caught pressing.

Davies can get back and is usually looking to.
 
Only bright spot is Bayern schedule now. 8 games left. The past 3 teams Frankfurt, Leverkusen, Hoffenheim bogey teams. 3 toughies left are Dortmund, Freiburg, Mainz, the rest bottom feeders pretty much. If Dortmund runs the table they can only lose one of these and it may happen. Their easy ones, easier than Bayern, but their toughies are Bayern, Leipzig, and Mainz. The Bayern vs Dortmun and Dortmund vs Leipzig will probably decide the Bundesliga.

When Davies plays, that means one of Coman, Gnabry, Sane sits. One needs to sit. All 3 have a really hard time shooting. For the amount of shots these guys take, it is shocking off target they are.
 
I just read this (not verified):

From open play this year we have an xg of 74 goals and scored 59.
From open play last year we had an xg of 61 goals and scored 80.

What does that say? The biggest problems are up front!

Bayern blew their chance to separate from Dortmund when Haaland injured. Now it will be a dogfight to the end. Dortmund did their part today and next Mainz midweek to get within 4. What happens to Nagelsmann if zero trophies this year, especially if Leipzig win Pokal? It will be a bad look.

10 goals 14 assists this season. It is hit for Germany, but this world cup is still somewhat clogged with Kimmich, Goretzka, Havertz, Muller, Gundogan, etc ahead of him. Next World Cup will be his. This helps a guy like Neuhaus make the team maybe. You know who needs to be on this world cup team? Raum of Hoffenheim at left back.

Raum is incredibly good. He diced Bayern up with his dribbling Saturday.
