Man U trying to poach Goretzka but he does not want to leave Germany. Other than money I guess Schnitzel is his priority.

Actually Sanches had a pretty good year last year. Lille won Ligue 1 and yesterday won French Super Cup over PSG. Sanches was also one of the better Portugal players at the Euros. But that ship has sailed for Bayern. What Bayern needs:

1) Wingers who can score and don't underachive.
2) Keep Kimmich / Goretzka.
3) Lewey replacement.
 
I don't know if you watched the Gold Cup. I did and got a good look at Mathew Hoppe. There is real potential there from what I saw. Looks better than Josh Sargent but not sure he is a number 9. Could be on the move at some point since Schalke relegated. He was never was on anyone's radar but there maybe something there.
 
Sell Leon Bailey and bring in Sargent. That will help the rest of the teams in the League lol.

Wow. I have been so busy with work, and my (vaccinated) mom was hospitalized with COVID Delta variant for 12 days I have not kept up with soccer news. ChiSoxFan thanks for posting updates.

This would be a good signing, although I prefer Goretzka. Goretzka a little injury prone though but he is better than Sabitzer. Remember also, Goretzka does not want to leave Germany. If so, there could be wiggle room there.

Chelsea about to sign Lukaku. What are the odds Timo Werner is at Bayern next season? I will say over 50%. The bookies in England already have the odds out for top scorer. Werner I think is 3rd at 12-1. Salah 5-1 and someone else I don't remember near Salah. It was not Kane either I believe.

So next season, does Bayern sell Lewey? And we have Werner, Gnabry, Sane up front, with Muller / Musiala, Kimmich, Sabitzer at midfield?

Sabitzer would be a great signing. He's a top player. I likewise want Goretzka to stay, but I saw a stat that said he's only played 55% of the time since being with Bayern due to fragility and injury issues, and this is something preventing Bayern management from giving him Kimmich wages. If he won't sign, sell him now I saw. No more losing out on transfer fees and allowing players to leave for free. It would also fund a possible move for Sabitzer.

I think this is RL9's last season in Bavaria. Just seems like he wants to leave. I'm just not a fan of Werner any longer. He looks great until he gets in sight of net. Can't finish. If he can't finish, he can't play for Bayern, regardless of the new coach knowing him well.

Sell Goretzka and Lewandowski and bring in Sabitzer and Haaland. I'm tired of the RL9 rumors, which I'm sure he has his douchebag agent float, so sell him now and sell Goretzka now. Immediately start contacting Haaland personally and get him to agree on personal terms, then reach out to BVB and offer what they ask for him.

He and Lewandowski are the best and most important players on the team. When either player is out, the team is flat. If management had failed at signing him, it would've been catastrophic for the team's near and longer term future.

She is better, but COVID wracked her brain. She had a 101 fever, pneumonia in one lung, not much, but it made her psychotic and violent to the hospital staff. Really weird. 87 years old with many underlying conditions. Brain still not perfect. Sister and I are moving her permanently to assisted living this month. Lived alone but not anymore.

I agree with everything you said above. Didn't realize it was on 55%. It was worse before he came to Bayern. Had some chronic stomach issue. That is why he is not Kimmich. A Kimmich, a Muller, a Neuer they don't come around often. Have to keep that asset. Kimmich should be captain now too. It is time. I know he has hounded Sane at time, but as captain there would more clout there. Sabitzer would be perfect. Sell him and then Coman. Werner can't be worse than Coman next year.

I do believe this is Lewey's last year too. Sell Goretzka, Coman, Lewey and bring in Haaland. There are other suitors with big money for Haaland though. I still think maybe Werner last year was an anomaly. 28 goals the year before. The right system I think he can work. Remember, look at Chelsea. Jorginho led the team in goals with 7. Only their significantly improved defense under Tuchel saved them. Mount, Pulisic, Abraham, Werner, Havertz, Hudson-Odia....none of them lit it up.

I'm happy for Tuchel. German coaches are currently the best in the world. Nagelsmann, Klopp, Tuchel, Hansi, Terzic (based on how he salvaged a UCL spot for BVB).

Haaland was born for Bayern. If Bayern got him, they'd get a player bound to be better than Lewandowski and is probably the future Messi. I sure hope Bayern is playing poor now solely for the purposes of getting Haaland. Bayern getting Haaland would keep him in the Bundesliga and only create more Bundesliga and Bayern fans worldwide. I just don't like that the optics of another player going from BVB to Bayern will be criticized, but the positives outweigh this. He is the only player that would make Lewandowski leaving not sting horribly.
