When you only have 10 full time players, really 9 with Ulreich and Tillman, you can't have a Gnabry making inept passes to no one the entire game. The veterans have to be perfect, and Gnabry was shit. I stole this comment below from Bavarian Football Works in regards to COVID. Bayern like 60% of team has COVID, far higher percentage than general population. Seems during the Holidays they all turned into Pierre Emrick Abamayang's. Here is the quote though, and lessons learned:

"frustrating, but goes to prove that COVID is no small matter and letting down your guard or thinking just because you are vaccinated or on vacation meaning you can slack off keeping your guard up is a mistake that can have major ramifications".

Just saying I went to Hawaii by plane and then Burbank by plane in December. Neither wife and I got COVID. Were extremely careful. Seems Bayern players were not more than any other team in Bundesliga by far and it cost them today. Pisses me off to be honest!!!
 
Kostic is amazing. Probably one of my favorite players in the league to watch.

It was a great match. If BVB can cut down on allowing cheap goals down the stretch, there will be a title race down to the line, which I'm hoping for.

Wolfsburg beyond embarrassing now. Way too much talent there for this. They need another coaching change and fast.

Fire Van Bommel, and replace him with Werder relegation reject Kohfeldt. Kohfeldt might get two big teams in back to back years to relegation.

Another prediction: Kohfeldt gets sacked this week.

Was reading that over at Bavarian Works. Quite a good deal. Not sure what this means for Gnabry or especially Musiala.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out what I think about the deal. Glad he's staying, but I wonder if this handcuffs them a bit when it comes to bigger names over the coming year.

Gnabry talks on hold for now, but still positive. Both Gnabry and Coman always have been inconsistent. Sane has become the best of the 3 wings imo. When Gnabry on, he is really on, but when off (like versus Gladbach) he is very bad. The real concern is Musiala. Musiala hinted he was not happy with playing time before COVID crisis and injuries hit. Does this stifle him? I still think he is not a wing but an attacking midfielder long term..especially in the Muller spot.
 
Schlotterbeck turned down Newcastle in winter move. Not a good location right now. Better options. Freiburg wants 30 million for him this summer. Real Madrid and Bayern want him. Real have money unless they splurge on Haaland/Mbappe but Bayern don't have an everyday spot for him with Upa and Hernandez. One reason why Sule may be bolting. IMO, Schlotterbeck is better than any Bayern center back. International Break coming soon with Nations League. Will Hansi play him? He did not during WC qualifying. Who will be the starting center backs when Germany play WC 2022? You see Frederico Chiesa tore his ACL. Was on Bayern radar. Very bad news for Italy. Either Italy or Portugal not going to World Cup so huge loss.

Yeah Musiala is not a winger. Müller is an apt comparison.

I did see that about Chiesa. Rumenigge has wanted him for a while now. Definitely a blow to Italy.

Nations League meh. At least Hansi in charge has made the team better.

I hate Nations League. Confusing. Only positive it gets some teams into World Cup playoff that may have been eliminated in qualifying. But since Germany not affected, I don't care about it. More following USA qualifying now coming up with huge games wiith Canada and Mexico on road and Panama at home. Way more important than Nations League.
