I'm fine with it. We had 3 lights out generational QBs and couldn't win a playoff game.

We had 2 other heisman studs and couldn't win the bcs title.

We had a JUCO xfer and a motherfucking badass smothering defense and won the title.

I think OU just can't wait. This guy is headed to Ucla so OU's needs a decision. Caleb may have screwed himself he if can't find greener pastures elsewhere.

These are the points scored against Oklahoma in national championship or playoff games. Guess which game OU did NOT get its ass beat. It makes zero difference if Caleb Williams stays or goes when it comes to winning another NC if the defense is not fixed. Period. End of story. OU is miles away from being ready to win another NC or a SEC championship. Brent Venables knows it and that's going to be his first priority. Yeah we need to score some points too but OU's salvation has always been its defense all the way back to Bud, Barry and Bob. Muleshoe wasn't ever going to get OU back to the top of the mountain and he skated. So, it's all on Brent Venables now. Defense wins national championships.
