CFP & NY6 Bowl Projections

I agree. Which is why the “one loss ND gets in just because” is wrong
Cincinnati was undefeated and if they had a loss they would have sunk like a stone and you're in.

My argument stands as CORRECT!

In 2012 you didn't deserve to be there as everyone knew Alabama was going to blow you off the field. Ohio State should have been there but was on probation. Honestly, Oregon should have gotten the spot because they killed everyone but just got upset by Stanford 9who took ND to OT that year). It would have at least been a closer game because they could score.

OSU would have gotten blown out too. That was their worst team in the last decade and I'm sure any OSU fan would agree. Yes, Oregon should have made it when they lost to a team we beat. Lol. Come on now.

Alabama would ha e destroyed Ohio State that season too. We were incredibly lucky to be undefeated.

Orange Bowl: Clemson vs. Texas A&M
Sugar Bowl: Oklahoma vs. Arkansas
Cotton Bowl: Baylor vs. Air Force
Rose Bowl: Utah vs. Michigan

Peach Bowl: Alabama vs. Notre Dame
Fiesta Bowl: Ohio State vs. Georgia

CFP National Championship: Alabama vs. Georgia

I like this one.

Do they invite 8-4 Texas A&M to a NY6?

If these are your teams you need to switch San Diego State and Notre Dame. San Diego State can't play in the Orange Bowl.

Since when does deserve to be there mean you had to have a close game. They went undefeated as you pointed out beat Stanford who beat Oregon. They beat Oklahoma in Norman and was like only the 4th team in that decade to do that.

Yes Alabama wrecked them. But if K-State wins out there’s a chance Alabama isn’t in that game.

Oregon lost a close one to a team that took you to OT.

You're leaving out that you almost got beat by Toledo that year.

Um what?

Also Oregon lost a close game. We won a close game against that same team.

Win a close game > losing a close game

You honestly would have a better argument if you went with 2020.

They think ND a playoff team? I’ll reserve judgment. I think a close loss in week 1 to Ohio St. can be forgiven but they’d have to run the table convincingly to make the playoff.
If OSU didn't find a new front 7 that can handle physical offensive lines, they could be in trouble againstND

So you want to penalize us for beating a team that another team couldn't? Lmao.

We also had two top 15 regular season wins. Oregon had 0.

We also didn't almost lose to Toledo that year.

Let’s also not forget Stanford didn’t have a single offensive touchdown in that game. Their only TD was a strip sack of Golson in the end zone.

Honestly that’s our only shot to get pressure on Stroud. Our DB’s are suspect and they’re going against what is probably the best WR corp in all of CFB. We are very deep and talented in the front 7.
