Beating Utah in a rematch is uber difficult and easily the most exciting and intriguing match up of all conference championships. Utah is secretly better than Bama.
 
UGA beating Bama in a not close game, Iowa beating Michigan and Houston beating Cincinnati would trigger all time chaos, theyd have a mess on their hands trying to put that top 4 together.

In that scenario...

Houston > Oregon

They will have beaten 2 ranked teams and their loss is still better than losing to a 3-9 Stanford. And Houston will be on a 12 win streak.

The chance of Houston going from #21 into the top 4 is nil. All that would tell the committee is neither Cincinnati nor Houston was worthy.

Well, we only have one data point...this year. That team is ranked 22nd now...and 4-4 in the SEC. Did any of the teams ranked above them from the Big 12 give you a 3 score beat down?
