Iowa St beat Texas by 23Well, we only have one data point...this year. That team is ranked 22nd now...and 4-4 in the SEC. Did any of the teams ranked above them from the Big 12 give you a 3 score beat down?
What score does UGA need to beat bama by to ensure bama is out?Bama is going to have a great chance to get a lifetime achievement birth at this point unless UGA mops the floor with them. At that point the committee just needs to stop even trying to pretend that its about "placing the 4 best teams"

If they are worried about blowouts, just put Nebraska up against UGA. They would find some way to keep it close and only lose by 3.Bama is going to have a great chance to get a lifetime achievement birth at this point unless UGA mops the floor with them. Lots of extra cupcake games in the SEC. Not saying those teams aren't good, but the extra win along with rest sure helps. I wonder if anyone can pull up the stats of the SEC vs non P5 this year.Every team in the SEC is bowl eligible except one. What other conference can claim that? The SEC has won 86% of the games played against out of conference opponents. The BIG XII has won 80% of the games played against out of conference opponents. I didn't use rankings, polls, etc. Just win loss records.

Yeah except using OOC win % doesn’t work because the leagues dont play equal number OOC games. The B12 plays 3 while the SEC plays 4. Of that for the SEC, only 1 team played 2 OOC P5 opponents. The rest played 1 and most played an FCS and 2 G5’s. I’m not suggesting the B12 is better then the SEC because they aren’t but That extra G5 helps mightily to sway the SEC win percentage. You may say well G5 doesn’t mean cupcake, then you should really stop giving shit to Junior and Baylor when most SEC teams did basically the same thing.I think most conferences have a cupcake here and there. Georgia vs Clemson, Florida vs Florida State, Arkansas vs Texas, Alabama vs Miami, Mississippi State vs NC State, LSU vs UCLA, Auburn vs Penn State, South Carolina vs Clemson, Tennessee vs Pitt, Kentucky vs Louisville, etc. Yeah there are some cupcakes but those ain't it. BIG XII has their share of cupcakes also. But that is a pretty decent OOC schedule against P5 teams for the SEC. Oklahoma State didn't play an OOC P5 team. Baylor didn't play an OOC P5 team. Oklahoma did play Nebraska. Texas played Arkansas. So go back and check that. The BIG XII top two teams didn't play a single OOC P5 team. Speaking of cupcakes.
Kansas is a powerhouse obvi dipshitHe forget that Texas got beat by 10 loss Kansas? LOL
Because UGA beat Clemson by 3 with no offensive tds. And beat Kentucky auburn and Arky. THE MIGHTY SECIowa St beat Texas by 23
Imo after UGA the SEC and B12 are pretty comparable
But obviously UGA separates the 2 leagues
No. Because UGA has utterly dominated everyone theyve played sonce then and has the best CFB defense in at least 20 yearsBecause UGA beat Clemson by 3 with no offensive tds. And beat Kentucky auburn and Arky. THE MIGHTY SEC
bookmarkedTheyre going to absolutely crush Bama in Saturday too 24+ pt win
Okay since we are going to go back to the first game of the season. Let's do that. First game, who did Baylor play? Who did Oklahoma State play? No team near the level of Clemson.Because UGA beat Clemson by 3 with no offensive tds. And beat Kentucky auburn and Arky. THE MIGHTY SEC
First, would you stop being a pussy and just hit the quote button. It makes you look like you are scared of a response.Percentage makes it more fair. Numbers when they aren't the same aren't as fair. Say QB 1 went 21/30 and QB 2 went 28/45. Some would say QB 2 was better because he completed more passes. Or QB 1 was better because he had fewer incompletions. Change them both to percentages. QB 1 is 70%. QB 2 is 62%. Yeah the SEC plays FCS teams. BIG XII does too.
You referring to a poster here being a pussy? You talking from experience?First, would you stop being a pussy and just hit the quote button. It makes you look like you are scared of a response.
The extra game 13 wins still sku the percentages. And in a 6% difference that can matter. Going 37 for 42 is 88% but add an extra 13 wins over non P5 teams and it’s at 91%. See how that skus things.
And I’m not giving the SEC shit for scheduling FCS. I’m giving you shit for you trying to bitch about Junior and Baylor’s schedule when 13 of the 14 sec teams did the exact same thing.
No, im talking about you finally learning to hit the quote button instead of just aimlessly responding and looking like you are afraid of a response. You referring to a poster here being a pussy? You talking from experience?
