South Carolina has only played four teams that are currently ranked in the top 25. No one in the top 10 and every team has at least three losses.


Clemson has played a weak schedule, sure, but its not like S Car has faced a murderers row of opponents.

Yeah, they're not in the top ten/rankings and they have 3 losses because we beat they asses. Cause and effect, my man!

But honestly, I'm not at all upset that we missed Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia this year. Had enough of that noise.

Which lost to BYU (10-2) at home. I'm sure that BYU will be ranked to low to be able to sling shot over SMU, but I hope it is at least discussed.

The committee has underrated BYU this year. They have a better resume than they've been given credit for. I don't see BYU getting in the CFP. If SMU doesn't make it, I think Alabama will get the last bid.

BYU vs. Alabama resume comparison is closer than a lot of people think. I'd probably lean towards Alabama but BYU has a case.

That said. I don't think it will be a close call by the committee. Alabama was ranked 13th and BYU was ranked 19th last week and I don't think anything happened last week to really change any minds.

While it might not eliminate teams, it will be interesting to see where the loser of Oregon/Penn State and Texas/Georgia are placed. Will they drop because they played the extra game against a good opponent? I know it would give Georgia three losses, but are you going to punish them for playing in the CCG?

How about the flip side. Will Notre Dame, Miami, Indiana, Ohio State, Bama, etc move up in the rankings/seeding by avoiding a 13th game against a quality opponent?

Penn State will definitely be ahead of us. I wish half the SEC didn’t shit their pants so we coulda missed the playoff and day woulda definitely got fired.

Michigan is a already bad team who was missing their 2 best players and complete beat up on defense. There’s zero excuse no matter how anyone wants to try to spin it
