Clearly, UNC and NC State to the SEC next ...

Only 2 in SC??! :bullshit:

On3 just lost all credibility

Remember a few years ago when Ohio State fans tried to argue that Ohio produced just as much if not more talent that Georgia?

Who the hell was saying that? The top four states have been pretty far ahead for quite awhile now. I could argue that Ohio is 5 or 6 but there is a large gap

All you fuckers look the same, but IIRC, the one that had a Duck Dynasty beard avatar back there, ATF and one other.

It literally would take a two second google search to prove that wrong. They're dumb

We've have also been on the decline for a few years IMO. Especially in the trench positions.
Not nearly the same amount of drop off as California. Alabama has a fraction of Cali's population and has nearly as many top 300 recruits in state.

the past 3 cycles have had really good OL players.. this year it's slim. DL hasn't been too shabby either.. what has been an issue is LBs..

on this note.. maybe UT/section8 ou can join with UNC, VT.. i mean they have plenty of time to announce their move since ou is holding up the move to the SEC in the near future

hmmm, wonder if this has anything to do w/ that California tax rate

thoughts, @Volbound1700?

You bet ya.

On a serious note: the numbers are surprising to me. It might be just a cultural thing in that California tends to have a lot more options for sports at their school versus Alabama. For example, I doubt many schools in Alabama have Lacrosse, Beach Volleyball, etc. teams.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the ACCs contract runs out. Big Ten and SEC are going to be looking to poach the ACC. It will be really interesting to see what happens to some of the bigger names in the ACC that are already in the SEC footprint (Clemson, Florida State and Miami FL)

Ain’t no black dudes playing beach volleyball, bro!

It's gonna be a sad when UNC becomes Big Ten mouth breathers and when NCSU becomes SEC neckbeards

I'll probably be done with college sports when that happens

That seems like a real possibility when the ACCs contract is up. I'd expect NC State and Virginia Tech to go to the SEC while UNC, Duke, Virginia and Georgia Tech go to the Big Ten.

ACC will have to fight like hell in order to prevent Florida State, Clemson and Miami from joining the Big 12 at that point. If that happens, the ACC is in big trouble. I like the ACC and hope they're able to turn things around and prevent this from happening. It would be sad to see Tobacco Road in different conferences.

Also, does West Virginia not exist?
A 5star D1 football player in a WVHS is kinda like seeing a Sasquatch….. in downtown Miami FL.
IMO SEC should nab Clemson,FSU,UNC and Ohio State and call it a century. Screw the “new markets”, give us more hate games and the biggest hoops blue blood brand.

If the B1G and SEC both increase to 18 members with your given scenario in the first paragraph, then I could see the Big XII also increasing to 18 members by not only adding the three schools you mentioned in paragraph two (Florida State, Clemson, Miami), but also adding Pitt, Louisville, and Notre Dame.... yup, the Irish might finally realize that joining a conference is necessary.

If the above would happen, then Syracuse, Boston College, and Wake Forest would be the big losers stuck on the outside. Those three private schools would either need to go independent or to the American Conference.

I don't believe the above scenarios would happen.... but one really never knows.
