Coach of the Year options

it's about everything but it's going to go to a coach who lived up to most expectations or came out of nowhere and has his team in the CFP
Or absent that, the coach that moved up the rankings the most. Probably an unranked team that finishes the season in the top 15.

Guys, I'm officially nominating Clark Lea for Coach of the Year.
He had the top ranked team in the SEC for some time, so I think it is warranted.

No, no. This has nothing to do with our fast start. This is all about... get this... "hype."

I think a coach can be the top coach in the entire nation based upon... hype.

Has nothing to do with winning, expectations, performance, none of that. It's 2023 and we're past all that stuff.

Hype.

Beyond belief. :L

Incorrect. I said from day 1 TCU was going to be bad this year. And I bet, literally, that CU would beat TCU to put my money where my mouth is. Nebraska isn't anything difficult, and CSU isn't either. The first time he ran into a program worth a darn they folded and continued to fold. They have maybe 2 winnable games remaining this year so they better surprise someone or they are ending with 5 wins
sure that was you.. but you weren't the majority.. check the odds for vegas that day

With the amount of talent Colorado has, they should win all four.
lol people knew about travis Hunter.. but they were shitting on his best players coming with him from JSU.. I'm not even a Deion defender like this cause he has enough of those people fighting his fight for him..

but lets not bury our heads in the sand and pretend that people thought this was a 6 win team here

Not sure who picked CSU over Colorado at any point. TCU obviously blows, as does Nebraska. Also people are acting like he's coaching the same Colorado team as last year when in reality it's an entirely remade roster with former 4/5* guys that have been the most talented team on the field outside of Oregon and USC.
And how do you think the 4/5* Colorado has got there ?!

And no Colorado doesn't have more 4/5* than Nebraska and TCU:
TCU: 26
Nebraska: 24
Colorado: 15

Honest question - Where'd you get those numbers from?

Where else but Kinnick Stadium do you hear fans chanting their coach's name?

It is happening this year.

They haven't had a season with over 5 wins since 2016.. attendance was shit, nobody cared about CU football.. Everyone said you could not flip a roster the way he did and be competitive year 1

he's only lost one game (brutally) to a really good football team and got another game vs a higher ranked school at home within a one-score possession game.

Everyone now loves or hates him.. Call TCU garbage all you want, they are, but their only loss is to CU. People were praising Rhule for coming back to CFB and taking on Nebraska.. all while Deion was getting ridiculed..

Media shitted and now have praised him and people are upset cause he's getting more air time despite coaching a bad team? ok

he isn't your coach of the year and that's ok..
So you’re just going to gloss over the your pretending he took over a 1 win team and turned them around?

he did take a one win team and turned them around.. he's tripled the wins.. lol

The entire team was replaced. The talent level is off the charts but yet they've failed their only tests of the season.

When can we expect a legitimate win?

Great. Now back to the question. What has he accomplished?

Pretty sure he won a super bowl.
Was a great NFL player.
Great baseball player.
Turned a football program around at Jacksonville State.
Great recruiter of young, black, young buck talent.

He's also created your extreme dose of butt hurt.
