Those are horrible choices.

Moorhead is a good OC but hasn’t shown he can recruit or run a major program. Miss State couldn’t get rid of him fast enough.

Washington is in the same state as FSU right now and Norvell has been a bad hire on and off the field. He was close to losing his team for lying to the press about BLM steps the program had taken.

he's sorta like they guy they couldn't get, Jeff Traylor.. Joey is well liked in the state with the TXHSFB association

For real. The only move is an established head coach. It can be an up-and-comer or a veteran, but it has to be someone who has head coaching experience that hasn’t been a disaster. They just whiffed on a rising star coordinator, badly, and they have to get someone who will bring at least a little excitement to the fan base.

I'm not sure if this is an aside from your comment about Washington's horrible choices, but Jay Norvell is Nevada's HC. Mike Norvell is an entirely different dude and I don't think they are related.

Had to edit my response to him, cuz yeah, the Nevada guy makes sense.
 
Apparently Jeff Tedford and Chris Petersen are both involved in the UW search, so that is neat.

Ok I screwed that up then. I totally thought were taking about Mike. No clue if the Nevada dude is good or not as that isn’t my neck of the woods.
