Bookie:
$ 10,500.00
So far we have had 6 coaches fired (I was surprised as I had forgotten a few of these):

USC
LSU
Texas Tech
Washington State
Georgia Southern
UConn

Guys that have gotten off the hot seat:
Jim Harbough - Michigan
Dana Dimel - UTEP
Jeff Brohm - Purdue

Guys that are warm but will survive:
Dan Mullen - Florida
Chip Kelly - UCLA
Scott Frost - Nebraska
Jedd Fisch - Arizona
Mike Norvell - FSU
Mike Leach - Mississippi State
Dino Barber - Syracuse
Tom Arth - Akron (who are they going to hire)

Guys that better pick it up:
Butch Davis - FIU
Geoff Collins - GT
David Cutcliffe - Duke
Jeff Scott - South Florida

Guys that are gone at the end of the year:
Manny Diaz - Miami
Justin Fuente - VT
Walt Bell - UMass
Seth Littrell - North Texas

Who do you have and who is on the wrong list?

Is Leach's seat already warm?

How are we feelin about my man Herm out at ASU? IMO ON the field he might be ok but some of that off the field stuff may get him.
thoughts?
I’m not so sure that Chip is safe at UCLA just yet either TBH. They’d be stupid to fire him IMO but I could TOTALLY see UCLA do that if he loses a few more.

Gary Patterson SHOULD be on the hot seat IMO.

I found his name on some pre-season lists. They’ve got KY, Arkansas and Auburn back to back to back then Ole Miss. if they drop all 4 fans will start to turn.
Bruh. It's Miss State

I think Mike Tomlin is out of the USC job sweepstakes :pound:

Agree on where you have Frost. I think he get another year, although if finishes 0-4 it could get more interesting

In before a dumbass comes and says he’s for sure getting fired

I don't think or have any idea what the hell the folks in Blacksburg are thinking. I know VT is not a blue blood. They do expect success after the norm set by Beamer. The buyout is pretty steep especially for VT standards. Then, the question I always pose by the water cooler: who do they even go after?

i have gotten to the point where VT has to prove that they are more than a one coach program

I thought some there wanted the dude from Coastal???

Ether way there should be zero reason Fuente doesn’t get VPI to a bowl game. Their schedule to end the season (like their whole schedule) isn’t exactly murders row. I mean 3 of their final 5 have losing records and the other two are Miami and UVa (a rival they own).

As bad as things are right now for him VPI could be 6-1 if things bounced their way In certain games.

I refuse to look at the rest of the teams they face. Hokies at home against Syracuse, Hokies up by 9 points with around 5 minutes to go. That is a two score game and you allow two TDs at home to end up losing at home. That is some major trouble there.
