Colorado to the Big 12?

Trade up for Colorado???

So a couple of hot dogs and a Diet Coke?

Heard some guys discussing this on the radio and there aren't many team options that aren't tied up with around 30mm buyouts from their existing conferences. So to trade the PAC has to find schools that attempt to make a splash and then convinced those schools to raise 30 million dollars each to buy themselves out in order to join, and by the way, we don't know how much revenue a year you will be making because they don't have a network deal yet.

Not to mention that Oregon and Washington are looking for an out if they can get it.

It's a tough sales pitch. I'm not sure you can find an organization that has so many different pivotal crossroads and has gone down the wrong path every single time as the PAC.

1. Didn't work a deal with Texas and Oklahoma when they had the chance
2. Wouldn't get a network partner for the PAC Network
3. Chose not to add Big 12 teams to the conference when Texas and Oklahoma left
4. Could have added BYU, Boise State, SDSU and multiple others anytime they wanted up until now

Yep. As shitty as Colorado has been, the chances of getting anybody good or even decent right now is slim to none. The conference is a sinking ship and like you said, who is going to pay $30 million to join a conference that nobody wants to be in and have no idea how much will make.

Dieon wanted them to move to an easier conference obviously....
i guess. they were just as bad for about 6 years leading up to the move too

1. Texas was the problem and the LHN
2. Scott
3. USC put a stop to that
4. could have didnt need to then.

the schools that have been talked about like Fresno, Boise, SDSU account for 9 of the last 11 conference champions of the MWC. in the 2 years they didnt one of them played for it.
Boise and SDSU have more wins over the last 10 years than all the adds to the BigXII and rank in the top 15 of most wins over that time.
Fresno doesn have the same high total but still has more than near half of P5 members including Texas, Tenn, Ole Miss, Colorado, VT, WVU, UCLA, Nebraska

Number of MWC Championship doesn’t matter. It’s about the value that they add and none of those add much value. Is PAC really gonna pay $30 million buyout to get out schools that add less value than that ? With how awful the PAC is run they might actually LMAO
