Boy oh boy, was I proud of Lanning. He laid the wood on old Deon. Opened up his pre-game to ESPN, it was all over the Internet.

I think the coaching community, that worked their asses off to get where they are, has gotten a little tired of the Deon Circus. I don't think many people are going to hold back on running up the score.

Deion guaranteed that this was the worst they’d get beat. I hope USC is out to get at least 70.

I'd like to see it, but honestly have 0 confidence in USC's defense. I can see this one looking like the TCU/Buffs game except USC winning. Just giving up a lot of points.

Nah... As someone who is very leery of SC's defense at this point, I seriously doubt the USC/Buffs game will be anywhere near like that TCU/Buffs game. Even the ArizonaSt team, being as scrappy as they were against USC, looked like a much better team than the Buffs.

The Buff's defense is TOTALLY suspect and will leak like a sieve against good teams and SC will put up plenty of points and even SC's defense, such as it is, will probably actually look decent.

Now having said all that, I've been around when great SC teams have imploded against BAD teams like Stanford and OregonSt back in the Pete Carroll days. FUGLY!!! :tsk:

Never say Never, but I think USC will win this game by a significant margin... :nod: They may even actually "cover"... :headbanger:
