Confessions from a Duck fan

I love when things like this are in writing so I can revisit after the game.

Do you also enjoy the myriad of times you've been wrong and made a jack ass out of yourself and the real Ducks alum?

We doing letters to penthouse in here now? I mean, I like peen as much as the next gal, but do we really need to be writing manifestos about it here?
@trojanfan12 can we get a ruling?

:heh:

Gayest manifesto ever...

Yet somehow on point for OP.

Simply put, Oregon has been in games like this for the last 25 years and has shown up and met the challenge.

Just so I’m clear…

This is the same team that lost to Georgia by 7 scores, right?

You and I define “met the challenge” very differently.

You woke up early just to read a manifesto and this is what you get?

I’m just thankful I lived long enough so I can watch the “game of games” and I don’t have the words to adequately describe that feeling.

I mean I'll take the hype because the more they prop up this game like washington is the real deal the better the win is for Oregon, but it feels hollow. This washington team doesn't have what it takes to keep with Oregon for 4 quarters.

So in other words… A Blue Plate Special

I’ll tell the Brinks trucks to start warming up

Good point OD. It's not like the very similar last year's version of these two teams resulted in a Washington win at Autzen or anything.

Look man, to be honest all off-season I really looked forward to this game. I thought it was going to be the heavyweights everyone currently see's on paper also fighting it out on the field. Almost like #1 vs #2, I thought UW was going to be the real deal. But as this season has progressed and we are here, UW just isn't on the same level as Oregon. Just not happening for you guys this year, which is alright for the huskies as I still think UW gets 9-10 wins, but they aren't on the level as Oregon.

Shame, because back in March I was circling this game as a BIG ONE, but that excitement and nervousness has been completely deflated by the product on the field from both teams. Oregon is a playoff contending team, capable of hanging and beating anyone in the country. UW is a PAC-12 conference championship game level team, where they may get in there, they may not.

You guys gave up 30 to Taco Tech....imagine the dirty things Penix is gonna do to that defense.
