Hazy sun and about 77 already in my area... Should hit the low 80s by noon or so!

At this time of year, it's usually very hot and dry. Yet, despite 1 week of 100+ temps and dry weather, it's basically rained every 3 or 4 days. Weird.

Wish we could get that up here. Your reservoirs must be filling up nicely.

Our drought has moderated with the onset of El Nino, but we're still at a big water table deficit.

I know a guy that works for a well company and he told me many farmers around here had their irrigation wells extended another 30' down in the last few months.
 
Bad news is my kid’s trampoline flew away in a huge storm today.

Good news is my neighbors now have a new trampoline. Will be tough to get onto considering it’s hanging on their pine tree, but still.

That happened to me years ago, landed three houses down. Had a hell of a time tearing it apart to get it home. Had to rebuild two sections of the guys fence. the guy across the street thought it was funny as hell.

Could have been a lot worse. One of the legs took the brunt of the force and basically staked itself into the ground while the rest got hung up in their pine tree. I took the legs off and pushed it back over to my side of the fence.

Now I just have to disassemble the thing and throw it away. Had a great run.
 
Bow echo went through right about sunrise. 38,000 without power. I didn't lose it.
82 mph winds reported 8 miles north of me. I have a grove on my north side that protects me from north winds. Likely some stuff down out there.

Canada wildfire smoke has made it's way back to this region. Very hazy with maybe a mile visibility.

Supposed to start clearing out tomorrow.
