Crazy, bitch ass weather

We got about 8" of snow on Monday and we're supposed to get another 8 - 9" of snow tonight.

Bring it on, we've been in an 18 month drought and my pond needs water if I'm ever gonna get fish stocked.
 
As it stands now, AccuWeather notes that they’re expected to see 1-2 feet of snow in the area between Saturday and Monday, projecting a high of 24°F and a “RealFeel” temperature of -1°F. Most significant, perhaps, is the wind, currently projected for sustained winds of 29 mph and gusts up to 44 mph, which could significantly hinder either team’s ability to throw the ball, projecting for a very run-heavy game script on both sides.

Blizzard warning for Iowa.

We've been upped to possible 10" of snow for my area in eastern Nebraska with 40 mph wind gusts. Likely to be some big drifts.

Windchill is -35.
 
Going to be south of the big snow. 1+" of precip. With a bir of snow on the backside. Might have t-storms overnight. Temps plunging 20 degree during the daylight and then another 20 overnight Friday.
 
We're getting a lot of rain Friday night into Sat morning... But don't let me discourage your joy of snow storms out your way, tho. :biggrin:

We'll be below zero for a few days starting tomorrow night.

Sunday is the extreme cold one. -9° during the day and then -16° overnight into Monday morning.
Windchills will be a bit colder.

Snowing good here now.

Just shoveled off the porch for the dog to go out for the last time tonight and had about 3". By the time I let the dog back in (20 minutes) it had already accumulated another .5". Likely another 6 or 7" on the way before this system moves out.

Forecadt for today is 8-12 inches.......just got done shoveling 1 of 2 driveways with 5 inches of the fluffy stuff......winds gonna be picking up to 30 soon with more snow on the way......

Just wet. All rain overnight. Temps in mid 30s
 
It's -19 standing temp, windchill is -44, currently.
